What have you watched on TV?

Anyone else watch episode 2 of White Heat on BBC 2 yesterday?Misssed out on episode 1(because of the MU/Bilbao game last week)but was really impressed by last night's episode.Rather reminiscent of the old BBC1 Wednesday plays, back in the 60's.Quality British drama and excellent music too.

Got them both on Sky+ and looking forward to watching them, more like Our Friends in the South I think.

Yes mate, twas good but not much happened week 1. Didn't miss much.

Watched Series 2 ep 13 of Walking Dead.

Probably best episode of a disappointing series.

However can I just point out if there is a zombie plague, dont stand still, run. They are slow so dont stand trying to shoot them all, a relaxed jog is enough to get away, hop over the odd 3 foot fence and that really scuppers them.
Oh and if you are in a car, dont stop and let them surround you, drive around really fast trying to get glancing blows to save your radiator.

These zombie victims are infuriating.

Agreed was an excellent episode, loved the Andrea "ending". Definite sense of creeping dread with the huge plague of zombies. Go live on an island, simples!

Homeland is great telly as well, very grown up unlike 24.

The new series of Mad Men. Sad to say I think it's run on too far and has become a little bit soapy, and sad to say, dull. Fell asleep through the second episode. However, loving the retro advert breaks, excellent idea whoever thought of that.

Oh well, cross fingers it'll improve as it goes on.

Worked from home this week and watched Homeland in the background.

Enjoyed it although thought the finale was a bit of a let down.

Also not sure where the show goes from here onwards.

Watched that pony that is Big Fat Gypsies Wedding last night because the church where the young pikeys got married is a place that I have close links to. So I was intrigued. Load of old tosh. Better than Big Bro though.

A Fire in Babylon. Superb cricket documentary about the Windies cricket team mid 70's-80s, starring Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd, Michael Holding, Bunny Wailer et al. Not to forget the superb music as well from all manner of reggae and ska allstars.

Shows how nasty and racist the Aussie team of the time were, and how Beefy & Co built bridges. Heartwarming stuff.

Viv Richards :Worthy:

was friday night lights on this week? was away and it hasn't shown up on the sky+ box.

Watched the first two episodes of Touch with Keifer Sutherland. About a boy who can interperet the universe through numbers and see disharmony that he can then get his dad to fix. Which probably makes no sense. Its a bit like Quantum leap but without time travel. (Oh boy).

Quite clever and enjoyed both episodes, but think it might get a bit repetitive.

Once Upon A Time - fairytale characters stuck in the real world. Borders the line between twee and cheesy and dark. I shall give it another go next weekend.

But hang on - it's the 2nd April...... At 9pm tonight, Winter is coming again :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
