What have you watched on TV?

Anyone think Psychoville ended on a huge whimper? However the bit where the murderer was cremated alive freaked me out.
I didn't like the ending of series 1, so I had no expectations this time. I think both series, despite their poor endings, have been so incredbly brilliant and entertaining that I can forgive them for not being able to write a deceent finale.

All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace. Fantastic stuff from the BBC, an economic programme that left me fascinated, laying down the reasons for the many financial collapses world wide to the financial elite, their love of Ayn Rand's selfish theories and the belief that computers would negate any boom and bust that the markets go through.

To quote myself here, I watched the third part of this today and I can't recommend it highly enough. Some of the most fascinating TV I have ever seen. Dianne Fossey - not the eco hero that Ripley made her out to be, more a human-hating crank!

The first of the new series of Coast with a visit to Canvey and comments from Sir Wilko

Missed that! *scuttles off to the iPlayer*

"Game Of Thrones" delivered once again last night, I was glued to the tv for the entire utterly magnificent episode. Only one more to go before the end of the series.

Agreed. Total shock at the end. I hope those Lannisters get a lance up their nether regions......

If there are expats paying their licence fee, then they should be allowed access to the iPlayer. If not, I don't see why they should.

You can get iplayer anywhere in the world,we pay £50 a year and daugther pays 5 euros a month, some people are just to tight methinks

Had no idea this was now available. It wasn't the last time I looked into it-a year or so ago.90 quid seems to be the cheapest rate I could find for here though.Got a link Tony?

Did anyone see Angry Boys, the new "comedy" from Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley? Dissapointing IMHO - more like a true life documentary with very few laughs. The crap rapper is about as funny as it got.

That's a fantastic bargain. Assuming it's legit you'd be mad not to wouldn't you?

Never use it myself, well apart from watching that eggheads special but its 100%legit.
Turns out that you have a code that scrambles your ip address so that the BBC software thinks you are an uk user which in turn is great for ilegal downloads or so the wife tells me.

Anyone see Terry Pratchett's euthanasia documentary?

Kicking myself for missing it, do you know if it's going to be repeated? [and no, I don't have the internet at home at the moment so iplayer isn't an option]

Been watching the new series of Lead Balloon and really enjoying it, hadn't seen it before, how does it stack up against the previous 3 series, is it worth me renting them?

About the same. The real stars are the surrounding characters - permanantly stoned daughter and her boyfriend and the grumpy Magda.
