What have you watched on TV?

Did anyone see (or attempt to see) Outcasts on BBC1? :zzzzz: Set on another planet? It looked ropier than a 1970's version of Dr. Who in a Welsh quarry with wobbly scenery. Huge (and no doubt very costly) fail.

It was recorded in South Africa, so yeah probably quite expensive.

I V+ it.

Saw BlueBloods yesterday, nothing to do with the SUFC dwarf that hangs around The Spread Eagle and sends me rude texts every so often (:winking:), but another offering from Sky Atlantic. Magnum PI, him from NKOTB and a.n. others are a family of po-lis in NYC. Entertaining with a nice twisty dark bit towards the end. Very good.

BF Gypsy Weddings - tough? They fight like girls in a school playground! I wouldn't say that to Paddy Doherty's face however......

Oh and Charlie Brooker. Truly brilliant again.

Just watching last night's How TV Ruined Your Life... Labelling Super Sweet 16 as a Al-Qaeda recruitment film is probably one of the truest claims ever broadcast.

Watched pt1 (of 4) of 'A History of Ancient Britain' on BBC2 last night. Excellent stuff, definately tuning in next week. Mix of archeology, geology, social history etc.

Did anyone else watch Mad Dogs last night on Sky1?
It had the benefit of a big publicity campaign prior to airing, must admit i thought it was very well written, with some great casting.
Looking forward to next week (4 episodes in total).
The fact that it had several good looking guys in swimwear was merely a bonus (honest!).:winking:

On the Sky+. No doubt shall partake this weekend.

Just finished the hour-long finale of Friday Night Lights.

Without doubt, one of the most fantastically written and shot hours of television I've ever seen. How this show is being cancelled, I'll never know... This is what TV is supposed to be.

Anyone watching The Promise on C4? Interesting part of recent history I had no idea about - Brits at "war" with Miltant Israeli terrorists who were recently saved concentration camp victims in 1946 and counterpoints with Israeli's being terrorised by Palestinians in 2005. No idea how much is factual, but it's damn good watching.

Human Planet was brilliant once again. Three blokes psyching out 15 lions to get their hands on a wildebeest being a particular highlight.

Also, the new series of The US Office got off to a fine start last night. With that and 30 Rock both back on the telly, my comedy needs are fulfilled for the next few months.
