Highest number of Members recorded was 1527 in the 2005/06 League 1 Champions Season, which in reality is no where near 2000.
Membership Numbers have always followed the form of the Team. Increasing steadily from 929 in 2003 and decreasing from 2006/07 as we were relegated.
So unfortunately I don't think you can claim the drop in members being down to you leaving
I think you'll find actually, that a lot of those who travel on the TZ coach are actually Trust members as well, they just choose to travel on a different coach with their friends.Could claim that the missing members (ouch) are usually found on TZ coaches these days:winking:

travel on the Trust coaches, support the Trust so they have more money to lend the club.
Have'nt seen any mention of a shareholders meeting!
You are a member?
TBH it was one thing we forgot to ask TB ..I will ask him next time we speak...sorry:blush:
You obviously was not listening.
TB said around end of March hopefully.
It would be better to travel on the Trust coaches to support the Trust so they have more money to lend the club, if the need arises.
To be fair though Rich, I think you'll find that TZ is cheaper in the main because of sponsorship. The Trust don't set out to make massive profits on travel, but the competitive nature of TZ's shorter journeys means that they have to do the same and then have to make the money up somewhere, which is why they do seem more expensive sometimes. It's certainly not to contribute anything to Ron Martin! There will always be those committed travellers who will prefer to use the Trust's mode of transport anyway, I think it's a good thing to have the two complementary styles.I'm thinking there may be a hint of sarcasm involved in your comments. Being serious for a moment, who would travel on 20 year old coaches with nearly a million miles on the clock, leaking leaving wet seats, mechanically unsound & most importantly far more expensive than TZ. Maybe the extra fiver a head that the Trust charges a head compared to TZ is going into the emergency TefRon fund! If it wasn't for TZ (& SOL travel) charging a realistic fare, I wouldn't have gone to as many games as I have.

As to the coaches, well, I rather think something might be said as it's becoming far too regular an occurence!
End of the day Rich, it's all swings and roundabouts. Some trips make a thumping great loss, others a healthy profit. They all kind of offset each other over the year, so any profit at the end is always a bonus.
I keep hearing how wonderful these TZ trips are and wonder why the Trust does not hand over the organisation to them.
Mind you it would give The Late One something less to moan about.
What about junior members , don't they count ?
How many life members do you have ? That number will only decrease as people pop off.
I will be most disappointed if my life membership of the Trust expires any time soon.
