Don't know for sure but I'd imagine McLaughlin, forest seem to think of him as a left back more than left mid. Pretty sure we'll see him here from what I'm hearing

Loan defender =O'neill, contract talks = Thompson. Don't know for sure but that's my guess.

I must be the only one not overly fussed about losing Thompson. He had a good run of games before injury, but never fully convinced me. Didn't look like a natural centre back and definitely wasn't a right back. Would like him to stay obviously as he definitely has potential, but we could easily replace him via the loan market.

would be sad to see him him go as he can play all across the back four, these players are not about very often and that's why other clubs are showing interest in him:unsure:

Agree with Phil. With Deegan and discounting Paul Smith and Jason Williams we have only just reached a squad of 18. Might get away with 21 at this level, which will be less than most. Minimum 1 more of quality at the back, Mc.Laughlin and another striker? Maybe still hanging about for Pigott and McLaughlin, otherwise very surprised we havent got at least 1 season long loanee under our wing to date

Definetly not nicky maynard he's on trial at Blackburn, been on trial at Nottm Forest so obviously still good enough for a championship side!!

Maynard was deemed not good enough by forest and Cardiff. He's on trial at Blackburn but in his only match hobbled off with a hammy. We've had plenty of trialists who were in and out in a few days. Anyway, I have no idea, but no reason to think the weekends trial will mean he will sign for Blackburn.
