I'd imagine he'd still command decent wages. Very good hardworking player and like most Aussies very good technically, the coaching levels out there are superb. Would love him here, can't see it though.

Could well be a bit of a ploy to expedite a decision from Hunt. Those quotes don't exactly sound like Brown's knocking doors down to get him in - "Well, I've rang his agent but haven't heard back yet" - but it would certainly be enough to make Hunt think twice about stalling on whatever's on the table.

Hadn't thought of that angle but would make sense and I certainly wouldn't put it past Phil

That sounds strangely familiar to Shaq's write up last season. they are hardly going to say he is total tosser that won't make the first team.

Of course not but you'd think they would be looking to get rid after hardly setting the world alight at two league two club loans.
 
The only thing that makes me pause on this is that PB is a lot better at sizing up defenders than he is forwards.
 
Grant Hall has already gone on loan to someone. Rotherham I think.

Walker-Peters, Ogilive and Fredricks are the obvious ones given we need a full back.
