What happened to the Jake Hyde rumour?
Could do with adding him to the squad
I have a feeling it was more of a wish than a solid rumour, could be wrong though

Has he got a bank account with them lol ?Yes, Moley mentioned Jake Hyde. But he seems to be under contract with Halifax until 2022.
Matthew Lund? 30 years old brown has signed him before
Problem is, if jack bridge gets injured we’ve suddenly lost all creativity in the middle. Happy with the signings of Ogogo and Dunne, but to me they seem to be deeper lying midfielders, doing the ‘dirty work’. Wouldn’t hurt to have another creative option in there, even a loan will do.Surely, there is no need for another midfielder.
Any news on Oxley
We should be searching Nationwide, not just HalifaxYes, Moley mentioned Jake Hyde. But he seems to be under contract with Halifax until 2022.

RB Demetriou?, Howard
LB Clifford, Ralph?
CB Coulson, White, Hobson
CM Ogogo, Dunne, Ferguson?, Phillips,
AM Bridge, Egrbi, Walsh, Holmes?, ANG?
CF Murphy, Rush, Halford?, Akinola?
Obviously keeper is the main priority at the moment, other than that we'll probably end up getting youngsters on loan one at centre-half, one who can play up front or on the wing, maybe even a centre-mid as well. Maybe another experienced forward as well. How soon any more permanent signings come in my depend on how quickly any one departs.
It'll be interesting to see which of the out of contract players (Bwomono, Demetriou, Holmes, Halford and I suppose Oxley and Dieng although they would be a major surprise) report for pre-season in a week and a bit's time.
League clubs have already began reporting back so their options will be starting to get clearer.
Weymouth, see post #1807 above.
What about Harry Phillips? And Nathan Ferguson has certainly played a more attacking role in midfield at previous clubs. Money is obviously limited, and I think a tall striker and a new goalkeeper would seem to be Southend's priorities at present.
I'd also expect some more funds to be made available once planning is approved, don't forget there is no transfer window in the NL so we can afford to wait before we splash any big cashYou could possibly add in Lennon to the
mix if fit , if Phil Brown fancies him, and previously our fastest player.
im intrigued on the money front and given our new era of transparency , can we confirm at next Zoom meeting or before if anyone knows on here , what exactly our Parachute payment will be.
I last read the basic award to be paid at 100% to relegated clubs from league 2 was £475k, reducing to half that next year
key questions ...do we still receive in addition any Solidarity money , and or funds for our Academy and Community. Previously overall we received around £1.3m I think
Ron almost boasted in one recent Zoomer about much he has slashed the wage bill and so I can’t quite believe we are very strapped, indeed are we likely to be wealthier than many other NL clubs and could maybe afford the odd modest purchase.?
Any “in the knowers “ able to confirm the overall total pot we will receive from the EFL this year and if not can we ask?
I thought Ron did confirm the parachute payments in one of the zoom calls, it was certainly mentioned maybe not financial specifics of that As in exactly how much. But defo confirmed we get 100% first year and 50% second yearYou could possibly add in Lennon to the

You're absolutely right, and I'm not sure where I read it now. @Ricey- any helpful update?
You mentioned that Ron has slashed the wage bill, but there are a number of clubs in the NL that have players on high wages. They do tend to be strikers and can match or even better EFL strikers. Let’s not lose sight of the fact that NL clubs do pay transfer fees for contracted players. You could possibly add in Lennon to the
