A Bit of Fun Transfer Rumours Thread (Potential New Signings)

OK fair enough. And yes 3/5 of our managers this season were completely clueless.

I can put it another way. He wasn't very good in a good team (last season) or an awful one (this season)- he hasn't got a single vote in our POTY awards (13 players have, half have played less games than him), and his attitude sucks (run ins with supporters a speciality).

Rather put Moshni in goal than have Dunne back next season.
Is he injury prone?

Could be a decent target man for us in this league. He has pedigree in the NL (particularly in 2015-16) and has tweeted his thanks to the Shots for giving him a chance, some games and some fitness in the season just gone. Hopefully he’ll be coming in and with a good pre-season could be part of a much more competent looking forward line with Murphy and Akinola. Plenty of NL goals between that lot.

I wonder if there's an Arsenal link... Both Murphy and Dunne are of the same age and started there.

Without trying to sound insulting, there's nothing spectacular about them but solid signings. Both have experience in the Football League but not necessarily Football League players, maybe they're just on the fringes. Exactly what I was expecting really, pretty happy. Well done PB if it goes ahead.

Don't we just love close-season speculation :Hilarious: It does, however, look as though somrthing will come to fruition early on this year. I hated those last day of the transfer window (I know that doesn't exist in the NL) damp squibs. All the hope, all the expectation, followed by shattering disillusion and heartbreak as reality sank in.
However, with no transfer window you could end up losing a key player to a fellow NL club, obviously for a fee and that has happened in the past.

People really moaning about signing a 31 year old experienced midfielder? Did you not learn anything from last season no?

Also please don’t pay any attention to what the Barnet fans are saying about JD, 9 times out of 10 the selling clubs fans will always say he’s sh*t etc..

Get behind the lad (if he signs) and make your own opinion of him after actually watching him play rather than being negative before he’s even kicked a ball.
