A Bit of Fun Transfer Rumours Thread (Potential New Signings)

Was a regular starter for Barnet this season until a red card for both bookings in March, then didn't feature again for the rest of the season.

He will be 32 in September so he isn't in his prime.

He sounds like typical brown signing.... a player who will work hard and put a tackle in. His age concern me bit, hopefully it's only 1 year deal.

Looks like a proper Brown signing. Defensive midfielder who will protect the defence.

Has played a decent amount of minutes the last two seasons, although he hasn’t played since March and there are rumours he was put on furlough at Barnet.

I'm utterly staggered he's getting another Conference club. He's played so little as we furloughed him, preferring to play a right back out of position in midfield. They say if you've nothing positive to say, don't say anything at all, so here goes..

He's got good organisational skills.
Going from the views of our own supporters and the ongoing inability to see what almost players bring, i'm not sure this tells us anything. Looks like he was ever present and captain until he got sent off and furloughed (so presumably the manager was completely clueless as well) - this and the fact there was no obvious replacement tells us how the integrity of the NL disappeared once it was apparent there was to be no relegations. Dover gave up all together and remain in the league. Others with no promotion hopes just furloughed a bunch of players who were on bigger wages and played kids...

OK fair enough. And yes 3/5 of our managers this season were completely clueless.

I can put it another way. He wasn't very good in a good team (last season) or an awful one (this season)- he hasn't got a single vote in our POTY awards (13 players have, half have played less games than him), and his attitude sucks (run ins with supporters a speciality).

Rather put Moshni in goal than have Dunne back next season.

Fan's opinions eh? If you were to ask on this forum about Acqua , you would get lot's of differing opinions
We can all sit and watch the same game of football and some rate a players performance at 8 and others at 4. I certainly would advise anyone signing one of our players to completely ignore what they read on here (or, if the don't want to do that then the precise opposite of what is suggested by the posts) ...:-)

All the makings of a top top signing..
