He looks a decent prospect from the comments and few clips from yesterday. Do wonder if he could end up being a bit Jack Payne in the sense of being a luxury player who goes missing when we aren’t on the front foot.

Absolutely agree.

When I say squad signing I mean as a back up, we cannot afford back ups though and as I say he seemed very similar to Faulkner.

We need a better signing, he will not be the answer long term.

Enough minutes to make my judgement that he is very similar to Mikey Faulkner and we cannot afford two Mike Faulkners.

All about opinions.

I am on about Pedder. Don't get me wrong he played brilliantly but I just don't feel he has enough of what we need. But that's me, like I have said previously its what the three amigos want.

Which triallist are you talking about, as Pedder definitely looked to me to be a player who’d be challenging for a first team place. Of course, it was a short cameo. But he seemed to offer something we don’t have. Definitely worth another look.
 
There is no hurry to sign the first trialist that comes along. Make sure we have the right player even if it is a couple of weeks into the season. These players are without a club for a good reason I would suggest.
