I assumed he may stay with Daggers for their big FA cup game with Millwall next Saturday and then move after that unless there’s been some change to the situation, as can happen.
I think he ****ed a lot off the last time he was at Roots Hall, with his attitude towards the fans. Although he was and has always seemed to receive dogs abuse.Sounds like a big timer we do not need. AKA Moncur and Bonne.I would rather stick with Collin.
Maybe, maybe not. Hope that helpsAre we actually going to ****ing sign anyone?!
Well it is only the 5th January. Are we actually going to ****ing sign anyone?!
I totally agree with you. Collin is a young lad who is learning his trade and personally I think he is more than good enough to be our Number 1. Keepers at all levels make mistakes, no matter who they are and apart from the odd kicking error Collin makes very few.I don’t get the whole Justham thing. He’s a player very much at the end of his career and his current team’s motivation to get rid of him seems to be that he’s on high wages - which surely we don’t want to pick up. If he was to perform a coaching role also, like David Martin did, I could kind of understand it - but we have a goalkeeping coach already. Goalkeepers are probably the easiest position to recruit, and there are a lot of teams higher up who have a decent keeper that they want to get given some match experience. Jeacock is an example, but that hasn’t particularly worked so far. There are plenty of others out there. Hence, I really don’t understand our alleged fixation with Justham.
I didn't even mention our recruitment. I was pointing out that the majority of clubs below the Premier league aren't self sustainable! And I'm right where that's concerned. How can you say that the only clubs who are sustainable are premier league clubs and call that a fact, and then bet there are some in the EFL too? Surely, if there are some in the EFL then they rubbishes your “fact”…
Obviously this is completely off topic so I expect this to be deleted.
To bring it back round to topic, people are saying “leaks are being plugged” etc, and that it’s quiet as no transfer rumours, but for a National League club, how many rumours do you actually see?
We are lucky that we have a few people on here who drop hints, we have London Shrimper on Twitter, so is very well connected and puts names out (although people are quick to knock him if it doesn’t come off straight away) and then Chris Phillips does, mainly when Kev hints at something.
Phil Brown was excellent for a sound bite on transfer bits, whereas Kev keeps it closer to his chest.
It’s a balancing act. People want information now, and want transfers yesterday, however when names are put out, like Justham, people then are calling it a saga and this that and the other.
All depends who you want to believe. PLEASE IGNORE TC9 ON TWITTER.
I’m not posting as much on this anymore. I’ve been told I’m past my sell by date by one poster, who never actually said why. I’ve been told I’m too close and that doesn’t allow me to comment on footballing matters. I don’t actually have an “in” with Kev. I’ve met him three/four times. He played in a charity match I organised, I met him when Southend United did a run on the seafront with the management, I met him at a meet the junior blues day and my Roots Hall Run.
Things are happening behind the scenes. John Still and his army are watching matches 5/6 days a week at all levels and all age groups. Agents are contacting the club daily. Conversations are going forward with some targets, others we are waiting for the “selling club” to bring in a replacement like Woking bringing in Effiong to allow Kendall to move on. That’s all I’ll say.
I`d prefer to spend the money on a more forward facing player, CM or another striker Free up the likes of Moncur, Bonne pleaseSounds like a big timer we do not need. AKA Moncur and Bonne.I would rather stick with Collin.

I think in future you might need to reed what I actually put before replying and putting out long arse statement in how our recruitment operates. Personally I think john still little past it but that's my opinion. Let's see what January brings.
Have you heard that we are then ?Are we looking to move on bonne if so brilliant bit of business ..
No I haven’t hence why I said are weHave you heard that we are then ?
Collin makes outstanding reflex saves and has a promising career ahead of him but we need a more experienced keeper for a few seasons now.I don’t get the whole Justham thing. You can’t really mis-use a goalkeeper, as Maher has with these two acquisitions. And we need a more experienced keeper.Sounds like a big timer we do not need. AKA Moncur and Bonne.I would rather stick with Collin.
aren’t you happy with his clean sheetsCollin makes outstanding reflex saves and has a promising career ahead of him but we need a more experienced keeper for a few seasons now.

How many points has Collin cost us over the last 2 seasons in comparison to say, defensive players that you feel means we need a more experienced keeper?Collin makes outstanding reflex saves and has a promising career ahead of him but we need a more experienced keeper for a few seasons now.
