No Bridge - hope that's not a sign of injuryActually Powell is there - I was looking too low. Who is missing? Apart from Ralph, Collin and Lomas

Seen him warming up with squad on match days - youth player, he was named on here a while ago but can't recall the name at the momentwho’s the guy between Maher and Cav? Blond floppy hair ?
Isn't it Jacob Bland, think he went out last week to a local club but intends to come back one day. Yes he still warmed up with the squad though Tues eveningSeen him warming up with squad on match days - youth player, he was named on here a while ago but can't recall the name at the moment
Who said we have signed Kabongolo? He’s simply been training with us.So we are only allowed 16 in our squad, we have 16. We sign Vilhete and now this Kabongolo. That takes our squad upto 18 excluding Martin in for Collin. How is this allowed? There has been talk about players being allowed to come in for players that are injured for at least 14 days. Regarding Lomas he's been injured all season and a replacement hasn't come in as of yet, unless Vilhete is and if so why has it taken this long? How have we managed to get Kabongolo in?
Londonshrimper on X I think.Who said we have signed Kabongolo? He’s simply been training with us.
Ahh yes I’ve just seen his tweet. Wonder if lomas is either long term injured or definitely leaving, I’d expect the latter.Londonshrimper on X I think.
No! Been reported he is 20.Only other option is if he’s signed on a youth deal? Didn’t someone say he’s 17?
We were too hasty letting Ollie go in my opinion he was a victim of cost cutting when 7 of our youngsters were released in 2021. Colchester born and bred he had been with Colchester since he was 7, finally signing a pro contract in 2017 and spent the next 4 years being loaned out to other non league clubs or playing in our under 21s etc He only played 3 league games in league two for us but has really matured now since joining Concord and then Southend, still only 23 he could have a great future in the game and make you a fair bit of dosh if someone fancies signing him!He might be following the Kensdale path.
Kensdale was a centre half at a local part time club when we were still under embargo. He trained with us for around a month before the embargo was eventually lifted and we could officially sign him. He was then on the bench for a further two months before making his full league debut. That basically gave him three months to get use to full time training and to learn our system. Much better to give young non-league players this build up before throwing them in at the deep end.
For those that enjoy a good smoke , i think they will call him BONG .Brooklyn Kabongolo ............. that is 17 letters!
There must be fabulous anagrams there .......... and do you still play per letter for a name on the back of the shirt ............ that could be expensive.
And I hate to think what kind of spelling variations we could see on here ....... perhaps a simple "Kabo" might be better.
