As long as it ends with no closing of the transfers...If we can get 3 or 4 in will help
Can we close this thread until the 22nd August at least please. Getting depressed at missing out on players from NL south.
we should get Brian Cox to explain- after that the universe would be a piece of pi ssNor will the universe, apparently, but its end is still quite a way off yet.
It is really extraordinary and almost unforgiveable how RM and his missing-in-action Board of Directors have completely mishandled the sale of Southend United over the last four months and in the process effectively sabotaged the prospects of the club on the playing field for the forthcoming season. We are losing signings left right and centre. Our non league rivals are making some very good signings indeed
Achievement with Ron this season is to beat the drop. Sod this investment
Relegation is sadly likelyWe are losing signings left right and centre. Our non league rivals are making some very good signings indeed

Brian Cox couldn’t explain what is going on at SUFC, nobody can!we should get Brian Cox to explain- after that the universe would be a piece of pi ss
The Board of Directors aren’t handling the sale of Ron’s shares, that’s Ron.It is really extraordinary and almost unforgiveable how RM and his missing-in-action Board of Directors have completely mishandled the sale of Southend United over the last four months and in the process effectively sabotaged the prospects of the club on the playing field for the forthcoming season.
I also assume that if Mooney or Lomas leave then we can use more non contract players? So my understanding is that we currently have 14 contracted players and we are allowed 2 non-contracted players. The assumption has been that these will be Bridge and Ralph. Meaning that players like Sandat and JD aren't in the 16. What I don't understand, and people closer to players such as @BoyWonder2 might, is the following: Does non contracted mean game to game and so if GSM was to get a knock then Demi could replace Ralph or Bridge and the same with Sandat etc?
I would assume not. If they're registered then they count right?I also assume that if Mooney or Lomas leave then we can use more non contract players?
If they Lwave then i assume non contract is possible, but if they haven’t left and are part of the 16 and are not playing we effectively have a squad of 14+ youth playersI would assume not. If they're registered then they count right?
JD has been taken on in a permanent coaching capacity but also with the additional remit of retaining fitness enough to play in emergency situations with some sort of temporary playing registration when needed. No idea how that actually works administratively in practice, but certainly provide cover in lots of positions. Whether that is possible in this embargo I've no idea, but would be very beneficial with the current squad sizeSo my understanding is that we currently have 14 contracted players and we are allowed 2 non-contracted players. No I mean if they leave so we go down to 12 registered then I assume we can have 4 non contract playersI would assume not. If they're registered then they count right?
But will still be relegated...The season is a long one if we finish 4th from bottom it will be a miracle
