Here's a controversial one. If Cards does get lured away to the EFL in January, would anyone take Acquah back?

Not for me.
He has obviously improved but no-one needs any reminders of that period when he was playing for us and that's not directed at his own performances just the whole period in itself, utterly depressing.

I'd have him back but I'm not sure why he'd want to come. We'd be a step down for him and given how much he got scapegoated by the fans I can't imagine he's got many happy memories with us.

Can't see why he would drop from league 2 to be honest. Seems to have thrived since leaving us so unless he feels he has a point to prove I think it's best for all he doesn't come back. But glad to see him doing well. Had a rough time with us

I certainly wouldn't boot either of those out as they've never left but I wouldn't be signing any back that have since left.

Personally I think demi has been absolutely brilliant so far this year. At 36/37 playing game after game at CB which isn't even his natural position. My man of the match for the last few games I've seen. Can't help but take my hat off for the bloke because he certainly doesn't play like his age! Considering the amount he has done for the club. Including taking wages cuts to stay and help the club he goes down as a legend for me!

No, I would see it as a very bad bit of business for us replacing Cardwell with that old cart horse.

Yeah props to him 100% I'm not saying he hasn't but he would be a full-time coach had we not been shackled by emargo.

Absolute wild guess but I'd say Devon Matthews looks most likely.

Downing, Misambo, Butterfield, Milnes, Taylor, De Girolamo don't fit the age profile.

Matthews is described as a left-footed centre back who is comfortable on the ball.
