So as this is a loan deal does this mean the NL are being more lenient as I thought we could only bring in players on a non contract basis?

That’s what I eluded to earlier on in the week.

Still don’t know all the rules, I don’t think the NL do at times, but we’ve been allowed to bring in a “long-term” loan.

Maybe that’s an injury cover loan for Powell, maybe they’ve relaxed our squad limit, maybe we’ve deregistered someone (probably Powell) to enable this loan. I don’t know.

Looks and sounds promising. All we need is enough bods to eek through to official takeover and the fixture pressures ease in October so all good news.

Kanu looks perfect too, just a glimpse into what our footballing department can bring in once all complete.

This is all very strange. For the first time in many months (years) I have hardly read any reference to Ron Martin, no organised protests, no issues surroundings wages, no imminent court cases to attend and so on.
All this good news coming at once is making my head spin, although that could be the drink!

Well looks like we can loan players now
The difference could be that Powell is out long term. I think loans (other than emergency gk loans) need to be a minimum of 28 days. Any injuries would therefore need to be for longer than this period.

The injuries for Lomas and Ralph were more wait and see type injuries so I don’t think we’d have a doctor’s note saying they are definitely out for more than a month (particularly by the time they were diagnosed, we’d paid for scans etc).

Is there anyone else that maybe getting offered a new contract once this embargo is lifted Bridge I’m aware of but wasn’t sure if anyone else ie the likes of Noor, Cav, Cards are just a few that I belive are out of contract this season .
