I don't get the desperation about signing a GK before tomorrow. Our current lad has just got two clean sheets in a row and acquitted himself really well after a tough start. If we sign a GK before tomorrow great, if not, it's not that bad.

If he gets a bug in the morning an emergency loan can be brought in. If he injuries himself in warmup then Charlie Brown, I think, could take place. It's only an issue if we don't have keeper on bench and something happens in the game. But we've gone many games without sub keeper both this season and last. It's a risk but one many teams took until the benches have increased this season.

There shouldn't be any reason not to have a sub keeper on the bench now with 7 subs being named.

According to The FA Trophy rules, it’s 5 substitutes (named and used) up to and including the Second Round Proper, then 7 can be named for the Third Round Proper (when National League clubs enter) onwards, of which 5 can be used at any time during the match.

We’ll get a loan in. Very easily done with a keeper. Or we will play the youth team keeper, we should be fine against Sittingbourne unless you think they are going to be peppering our goal with shots?

Wouldn't underestimate them. They will be full of confidence and bound to have a few speculative cracks at goal given their current goalscoring form. Remember Brentwood got 3 against us all be it with Crowther in the back line. I still expect us to win though.

Reckon we might go for him again in the summer? His career has stalled and we know our amigos don’t mind waiting to secure their targets. Their ‘dream’ forward line-up next year be:
