The fact that staff are STILL not being paid on time just sums him up. These people have families, children, babies to feed, homes to be able to afford, as well as everything else.

Don't go there, we nearly had a game called off last season on the Saturday morning when the electric people went in to cut us off for late payment. Luckily TL found the money from somewhere to cover it at the last moment.

The whole situation stinks.

When you face up to the facts that people are continuously being paid late, no meaningful updates or clarity on the position the club finds itself in, without timescales or deadlines for putting them right, combined with no accounts being published since 2019 to provide clarity over where the money is coming in from, and more importantly going to.

There is no way that all of this is an 'oversight' or incompetence from a professional club (in its loosest sense!), it has to be a deliberate act. The question that arises from this is WHY?

I think if we found that out then we'd either be very relived or very scared, but at least we would know the true picture

Not for certain. Maybe just trying to buy himself some more time while he tries to find somebody else to lend him some money.

Is Ron hoping and waiting for the training pitches to be completed so he can raise some cash by taking out a 100% mortgage (bridging loan) on them?

I suspect completion of the training pitches allows the next phase to start which opens up more cash.

True but who is the man with the millons to buy the club .As yet i have not seen anyone coming forward to buy Ron out .And i doubt there is such a person . So sadly we are stuck with him .

So how would you suggest the pre match preparations, warm-ups, TV set up alongside the post-game warm downs, remedial pitch works and security checks are done in the dark?

Possibly but it still makes it ridculous that he has to wait for that to happen to even be able to pay junior staff on time. How on earth has it got to this stage.

You can imagine the property tycoons sitting around the boardroom with RM as he tells them his tails of being a football club owner and running a 500 million pound property deal whislt prunning his own feathers.

There will have been discussions in advance that led HMRC not to oppose the adjournment. Those discussions will have included Ron convincing HMRC that funds would be forthcoming in that particular timescale. Be nice to know the detail, and the Trust statement confirms that the adjournment was "not unexpected". But there would have been some sort of third party collaboration.

Unfortunately I doubt we will see whatever is shared with HMRC, but it difficult not to believe that payment will be connected with a release of funds from the development or further to collateral related to the development. As has been mentioned a number of times before.

Lets hope that its not just enough to sort HMRC and not a penny more as what we want to see is some comfort that the club is adequately funded to the end of the season (salaries paid on time et al)..

Less than 24 hours after we get a great result against a very good team top of the league on an 8 match straight winning run, we show the league our progress on tv, and all are celebrating still .... he brings us crashing back down to earth with the news only he could deliver! Classic Ron

I'm assuming that's all staff, Players, Coaches, Matched day stewards, Kiosk staff, Ticket Office Staff, Behind the Scenese staff, Tea lady (or man) etc etc

And some of the small business creditors waiting to be paid.
