Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

This isn't a surprise but is a nasty shock. I hoped we had turned the tide on and off the field but the late wages was always a flashing warning sign.
I would put money on Ron being unseen tomorrow.
For sure the staff, players, managers and all connected and supporting the club will be feeling battered and bruised by the never ending saga.
Fighting, name calling, insulting each other, or others, won't help.
The buck starts and stops at Ron's door: however a solution is a multi million pound question that I am yet to hear or read a cohesive and feasible answer to.

Only thing that really hurts is it makes us all fear if we’ll have a club to support in the New Year, if he doesn’t pull a rarebit out of his anus. Rabbits don’t cut it no more. W⚓

Players, management team and supporters are all wasting their time tomorrow!!!

We’re not going to get anywhere until the club respects it's staff, pay bills and get out of negative press!!!

Just pointless until we get the basics right, treat people properly and run a professional company!!!

No seriously, answer this, what does it have to do about Stan? Seriously, because every post about our shambles of an owner causing the issues includes Stans name, for what reason? Why is Gary Lockett's name not mentioned? Why is Kevin Maher's name not mentioned? You want to know why? Because they have nothing to do with it, which goes the same for Stan.

It's one man and one man only.
If anything if Stan hadn't stood up to Ron last year, we'd have a crooked owner and a **** team in the Conference South. At least we've got a decent football side now.

How can the Trust get rid of him out of interest? Murder?

The moratorium surely has to be over and protests need to restart (without disrupting the team in my opinion). Ron won't listen of course. But we can only try.
If the moritorium ends then the team, coaches, Football Department and admin staff will be adversely affected.

The good work happening at the club isn't being heralded because quite simply there's too much to do, that is being done to create a lot of positive outcomes . So crowing at a time when all we see are negative headlines isn't a good look.

Please DO NOT be tempted to protest in the stadium as all will happen is good people walking away, something we simply cannot afford to happen right now. It would be a self fullfilling prophecy . Protests equals staff morale lowered further equals departures equals decline.

I know of two really positive events have been cancelled this week simply because we're scared to shout positive numbers or initiatives which run contrary to the news today. In short, judging everyone has consequences. So let's remember that as we reafirm who we are. Southend United.

WE MUST as a club seperate a situation ongoing for years from those in the club , including Trust, supporters groups and individual supporters who are moving the club forward daily.

At the club we knew what we faced when joining and knew the potential for continuing issues. We are working hard , with success that you don't see ( I've told people at the club to release successes and they won't out of fear of crowing at times when headlines don't read well ) that is and will bear fruit. These are facts that I need all of you to trust me 100% on.

It's tempting to throw the baby out with the bathwater here, and trust me, I hear you as do others, but a year of no protests has allowed a young team and coaching staff to get their foot in the door, work hard and get to that point where we ALL can almost touch a team that we can see succeed.

Wrecking that now, in my opinion would be catastrophic for the team, club, morale and forward momentum.

In the club we know the constraints and potential issues and how regularity they may come. We are not stupid.

Those people are also some of the most experienced, clued up and savvy people in this sport, and if they tell you not to panic right now, then please take that to the bank.

Trust those who've come into the club in the last year to have your best interest at heart, to navigate this period as others and to plough through when inevitably something positive changes the pattern of recent years.

In the tent to affect change or out of the tent to affect nothing. Be confident that the former will get this club into a much better position.

Tomorrow, support the team.

If you need a punching bag, aim it all my way, but please don't stop supporting the team, this is a very crucial period on the pitch.

Trust me. Trust us.

Completely agree that so much has improved at the club on the playing side since last year, but the constant financial issues are not going away.

As supporters, we have a few aims/responsibilities here: to put strong pressure on the owner to sell the club (if he doesn't sell, all the good work being done at the club will continue to be undermined), and show solidarity with those staff at the club who have suffered during a time of such financial uncertainty.

While at the same time not disrupting a young squad and management team of whom we are all finally proud.

It's difficult but I find it very hard to contemplate just sitting on my hands and doing nothing.
