In the Echo Kev said it is all agreed and was with the people who do the paperwork - guess it depends if that was completed in time.I suspect it means we can't extend Dackers' loan.

Love how we make our own deadline days these days.In the Echo Kev said it is all agreed and was with the people who do the paperwork - guess it depends if that was completed in time.
What a crazy world we are currently in as Southend fans. We have the likes of Stan Collymore involved with the club. Honest, hard working and a true leader with a clear passion for the club and doing right by it…and then we have Ron Martin…If the moritorium ends then the team, coaches, Football Department and admin staff will be adversely affected.
The good work happening at the club isn't being heralded because quite simply there's too much to do, 24/7 , that is being done to create a LOT of positive outcomes to be crowing at a time when all we see are negative headlines.
DO NOT be tempted to protest in the stadium as all will happen is good people walking away, something we simply cannot afford to happen right now. It would be self fullfilling prophecy . Protests equals staff morale lowered further equals departures equals decline.
WE MUST as a club seperate a situation ongoing for years from those in the club , including Trust, supporters groups and individual supporters who are moving the club forward daily. And I have the figures to prove it.
At the club we knew what we faced when joining and knew the potential for continuing issues. We are working hard , with success that you don't see ( I've told people at the club to release successes and they won't out of fear of crowing at times when headlines don't read well ) that is and will bear fruit. These are facts that I need all of you to trust me 100% on.
It's tempting to throw the baby out with the bathwater here, and trust me, I hear you as do others, but a year of no protests has allowed a young team and coaching staff to get their foot in the door, work hard and get to that point where we ALL can almost touch a team that we can see succeed.
Wrecking that now, in my opinion would be catastrophic for the team, club, morale and forward momentum.
In the club we know the constraints and potential issues and how regularity they may come. We are not stupid.
Those people are also some of the most experienced, clued up and savvy people in this sport, and if they tell you not to panic right now, then please take that to the bank.
Trust those who've come into the club in the last year to have your best interest at heart, to navigate this period as others and to plough through when inevitably something positive changes the pattern of recent years.
In the tent to affect change or out of the tent to affect nothing. Be confident that the former will get this club into a much better position.
Tomorrow, support the team.
If you need a punching bag, aim it all my way, but please don't stop supporting the team, this is a very crucial period on the pitch.
Trust me.

He don’t go to half the games anyway , especially after news like this.Protesting outside of games would suit Ron. He doesn't have to face them and they won't get media coverage
Protests inside that go overboard risk ruining the confidence of the players and landing us with possible financial penalties. Sure, it gets more attention but at what price.Protesting outside of games would suit Ron. He doesn't have to face them and they won't get media coverage
He does attend games we can see him in the directors box from our seats in the east standAs far as I'm aware he hardly attends matches these days so any protest will fall on deaf ears.
What else can be done though?Protests inside that go overboard risk ruining the confidence of the players and landing us points deductions. Sure, it gets more attention but at what price.
A thousand times this. We can't have this situation again.Frankly it's all very upsetting that its reported we are in an embargo yet again but we shouldn't be as until our financial basis is stabilised it's likely to continue. The likes of Stan and Tom arent stupid and know it was likely to get worse before it gets better. As a fan base we need to trust what they say and do support the team on the pitch.
Yes I know its frustrating because Ron holds all the cards and it's very little we can do about his control of the club other than expressing our views in protesting.Until FF reaches its goal I really cant see Ron going anywhere.
Then as a supporter base we must try and get some representation on the board as a way forward to get away from clubs being controlled by one person
Give him my best regards. He does attend games we can see him in the directors box from our seats in the east stand
Rose smelling ones of course.Personally, I would hope the players and staff have been paid on time today and if that means that the taxman is paid late, so be it. Providing if course, it can be rectified in the next week or two.
However, If no one has been paid because Ron is pushing any funds that he has in to the training pitch payments, that's absolutely ridiculous.
If as i suspect he has gambled everything on a land revaluation, to release funds, he must be a very desperate man.
No protests are necessary- he must be ****ting bricks!
