Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

If he asks for an adjournment, that would take us to the time when he is expecting funding to be released won't it?

Last night will have helped, I don't know how much BT pays but it will have provided some funds. Another home game Saturday, which hopefully will draw some more money in after seeing last night's game on TV.

It is a minor miracle that the team are performing so well with all the crap going on in the background.

From what I understand, we don’t get money for each game that’s selected, we, along with all the other clubs get a set fee from BT Sports regardless of how many matches are shown.

Doesn’t matter if we appear once, twenty times, only home games or only away games, we all get the same fee.

The figure, taken from a Hartlepool article from about 2020, was 6k for a home fixture, 2k for an away. I believe a new deal was agreed the season following this though. Hopefully it is a bit more, but Boywonder seems to think each team is paid a flat fee for the season now instead.

As you say though, many people would have watched us last night, so hopefully a few more day trippers will give us another shot.

We lost money last by being on TV. Not sure how many County stayed at home but you only have to be about 300 fans down before the fee doesn't cover the loss.

I was expecting to get in online, but just received this, not sure why no access, presumably because "end " of Covid restrictions??

I was told last night by someone who spoke to a fairly senior club employee that RM hasn't paid up and will ask for an adjournment. More weeks will go by with this awful owner strangling our great club.

Such a shame that a day after an excellent result on tv against a very good team, we aren't discussing the great team on the pitch but having to pay attention to Ron's financial screws ups .....

Yep, and it's us who have to suffer! People like him shouldn't be running football clubs it's as simple as that...... doesn't pay taxes, players or staff who on min wages on time or never. This guy really is slum owner.

What happened to the bridging loan to cover the debt? Another 1 of his bull**** lines.

It's gotten so bad that the person serving us at the food kiosk told us that they've not paid the supplier for the refreshments so they've refused delivery. It means the away end were having to serve coffee via an urn and store bought coffee as opposed to the instant cups.

That might explain the lack of pies and sausage rolls in the East Stand. They dont have a huge amount on offer but they dont normally have nothing by 7.10pm. All there was was hot dogs and those god awful burgers plus confectionary

Yep.

A 56 day adjournment I believe, which will take us into the early new year for a new court date.
