Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

I’d still love to know what those H&S issues are ? We may need that space at the end of the season
At a guess I’d say it’s probably a conscious decision to not maintain that area of the ground properly on the basis that it’s not expected to be used much (if at all) in non-league. A bit short sighted IMO but probably reflective of the razor thin budgets, with the football department heavily prioritised with whatever cash there is. The H&S issues arising from that lack of maintenance could probably be tackled fairly easily if there was the will (and funds) to do it. That’s all guesswork but I bet it’s quite close to the truth.

No. As @in the know confirmed at least one player was paid late last month, albeit they agreed to it.

What is the point of throwing cash at a bottom less pit that is going to be pulled down in a couple of years time .

Combined with ever-tightening H&S regulations too, of course. The exits at the back of the North Bank would probably no longer be deemed adequate for fire evacuation routes with a big crowd in there.

The East Stand feels like one massive fire hazard too.

Changing the subject, are you recovered from your snake ordeal ?
Thanks for asking.

I still have a mildly painful swollen foot and ankle. Been told that could take 3 weeks but in a certain percentage of people several months to get back to normal.

I aspire to getting back to normality soon. It is not a constrictor on daily life. I could still dance to Mamba no 5.

Glad things are going well .
You will have to treat yourself to a ‘krait of cobra beer’

As big as tonight's match is, we mus not overlook the more significant encounter taking part in the Law Courts tomorrow (10.30 onwards). Alas, I now have to cover the desk, so cannot stroll up there to keep an eye on proceedings. Fingers crossed everyone.
Just be mindful that Ron hasn’t got the money He will ask for a 60 day extension which will mean a further two months of embargo’s .. if he hasn’t got it money how’s he going to pay the wages ? Just how much funds do the shrimpertrust have to sustain this existence ?

If he asks for an adjournment, that would take us to the time when he is expecting funding to be released won't it?

Last night will have helped, I don't know how much BT pays but it will have provided some funds. Another home game Saturday, which hopefully will draw some more money in after seeing last night's game on TV.

It is a minor miracle that the team are performing so well with all the crap going on in the background.
