Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

Not the only problem Coventry have. The Stadium owners are expected to go into Administration tomorrow. Their home game scheduled for Tuesday will go ahead, but that may well be the last. They, according to reports are trying to find somewhere else to play their remaining games.
Maybe we should worry about this. As a likely solution for Cov C is ground sharing and financing the nearby Solihull who are about to open the 4 th and largest side stand on their "arena".
For Cov it is the obvious and nearest solution.

Solihull are already bankrolled well above where they should be due to a single rich owner, groundsharing with Coventry won't make much difference.

Although the like of Solihull and Borehamwood does bring into question the financial fair play of this league

Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Leicester City, Southampton who are all in the Premier League.
But for every club that has gone into administration and gone back up (and all the ones listed are bigger than we are) they are just as many who have dropped lower and/or gone under.

What we know now is he is untrustworthy scum who treats staff at the club like dirt and is a truly horrible man. The kind of person every parent wishes his kids not to be like.

Are you OK hun?
Your obsession with RM is frightening, do you need to seek help for it?

Westy is OK, he is just a bit grumpy as it was his round for some more beers. :Hilarious:

Football is a weird 'business'. and, shocking as it may seem to some, it is by no means certain that our finances are the worst in the FL and NL, or, we are the worst run club.

Maybe Coventry are worse than us .transfer imbargo cant play there home games because of the state of the pitch .Afew years ago they was kicked out of there home ground .And made to ground share miles away from Coventry Now the owners of there stadium are also going into administration .At least we still play football at the hall at the moment .

Strange as it sounds I'd say that Borehamwood and Solihull are worse run clubs that us, they are propped up massively and will disappear when their owners lose interest

Too right, seeing their crowds, there is no way they will keep up their performance level in the table on an small crowds.

Boreham had big earning cup run last year, Moors made play offs and ìirc sold some players for big profit. I doubt their economic plans are made fantasizing on crowds in excess of what they are currently getting.

Shame for those clubs is even if they get to L2, they'll still be playing in front of 1000 or so fans every week. You have to wonder what the point is of trying to get clubs like that into the EFL where it will cost the owners even more just to stay there. even the likes of Billericay Town would probably pull in 2500 or so if they ever got to L2, and they couldn't even survive in the NLS once old moneybags left. Crazy.

Why not?

Why does size of crowd mean they can’t keep up their performance?

Bournemouth’s ground is a similar size to Roots Hall, yet Ipswich & Sheffield Wednesday have massive stadiums in League One.
