Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

who in their right mind honestly thinks us getting wound up is a good thing? seriously!!!! what a bunch of morons! Yes Ron will be gone but the club will be nothing and we will be a lot lower down the football pyramid.
I'd rather you didn't call people with opposite opinions, morons. There is a case for having no debt and being able to live within our means.

Please explain to me how this 3 sided stadium is going to help SUFC survive another 100 years ?

Could the club organise/release a Corporate Bond, raising money to get the club stabilised and invest into the new ground project

Say a term of 5 years where the £ plus interest would be paid back following the residential revenue stream

Would people invest ??

No. I don't think people would. They're not THAT bothered. Many bought shares in the club and look what happened to those

I think we’re just tired of the Ron out brigade who are not offering any credible alternative.

Brinksmanship with the taxman. We’ve been there so many times it’s boring. We know the script.
Sorry to hear that you’re tired, …………but take your tired weariness, and times that by a multiple of about a million, and you might begin to grasp the depth of frustration, anger, sadness, desperation, depression and resentment that the “Ron out brigade” feel. Perhaps if there were a more united front, instead of so much weak passive acceptance and downright apathy, we might all arrive at a workable solution.
The stooges and apologists are only prolonging the agony on the slow journey to our inevitable demise. No true fan could possibly have one iota of support for the dark shadow that drags us down like a ball and chain.

how bad does it have to be before the fools from the “in Ron we trust” camp finally come to their senses ??

Little timeline for people on this using known dates

If a buy out happened would my shares be worth 2p?

Like @ORM it is an exasperating situation that has been discussed and chewed over time and again.
Very rarely does getting angry or insulting, abusive help a situation.

And from all I have read there is no credible buyer that wants anything more than to asset strip the club and make the profit Ron has mortgaged his "empire" on.

Maybe, just maybe it’s time we let it go. Sufc is like an old pet you don’t want to die, yet hope for a miracle cure.. but then after a period of grieving, you get a new one. Find memories of the old one… but you invest all your time in the new one. ‘Here boy’.. let’s look forward to afc Sufc
Quite a good analogy !😇😇😇😇

Does the club have any assets, apart from players? I mean from the point if view if its wound up, is there anything to pay off the debt?

If they're winding up the football club entity itself rather than the myriad of companies that moves the actual money about, then I think the answer would be no.

The only thing left is the SUFC name and brand I believe, happy to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable though.

Sadly, I think you are right. Once Fossetts Farm and Roots Hall has been milked for all its worth, the club becomes a sink without a plug hole. No amount of liquid gold poured into the sink will stick around.
The club is only attractive with the land sites that Ron holds. How many offers have we had to take on the club alone without FF and RH being part of a deal?
