He will get slaughtered from the terraces if he plays until he does leave.

Indeed, I heard he had gone, but looks like a last minute hitch. Shocked.

In fairness to CP he said he was close to completing a deal.

Definitely didnt want him to leave, but now not sure its a good thing he hasnt got his move.

Cant see him playing tomorrow. Would he be in Blackpool ? Cant imagine he would have got up there today and his head will be all over the place tomorrow.

Every time he has a poor game he will be accused of not trying because he wants out.

There was a piece on the BBC site the other day by Clarke Carlisle in which he was saying that clubs at all levels are offering wages well below the levels of the last few years. Could well be that Blackpool didn't offer him the sort of deal that he was looking for.

If he stays here, gets 20 assists and 10 goals then Ryan Hall won't be short of offers next season.

Going to have to wait till he is on the team sheet tomorrow before I believe it, but if he is still a Southend player, I just hope he plays the best football he ever has for the next few months!

He will have got the taste for Championship football getting that close to going there.. so hopefully he has something to play for!

3 months max I believe. I reckon he'll go on loan too. View to a permanent.

More I think about it, the more I think this is a mess.

Cant see any other reason he didnt sign than he ran out of time. Its possible they didnt quite offer enough money, but his heart wont be in it.

Think we will have to see how it goes over next few days.
