Last week slatting N Rock director for offering 5x income and saying this is totally wrong.

Two things wrong with this is my book. 1) Nearly all lenders do 5x income and some such as GE Money do x7 income. 2) The customer is pretty thick if he takes on a mortgage payment he cannot make - I hate this its not my fault culture.

Dave, have you seen the lead story on the BBC News website about borrowers (especially those with lower incomes) being told to overstate their income in order to quickly get their mortgage applications processed quicker & for larger amounts?
