I am a sth and wanted to get tickets fr Stockport and brentford s thought i would get them after todays game. Should take 5 mins??? What a F*****g nightmare. Was embarssing . Complete shambles. Am now relying on tickets being delivered( am noot holding my breath)
 
My mate had to go through 4 season tickets before it worked, which was against Aldershot mid week. The club is completely useless.
 
My mates season card didn't work, they took it off him and then phoned him asking him to collect a new one. He arrived to collect the new card and was issued with two cards, both of which work.

My sons season card hasnt worked from the first game of the season . He has now had three cards none had worked ,i asked when he wil get a new card as over the last few weeks his been given a paper ticket,the woman just shrugged her shoulders and said the card machine still isnt working. I then asked jokingly asked if he wil get it before the end of the season to which she replied i dont know,that wont post out his ticket so i have to queue each week :angry:

agreed they had 1 poor young lad serving who couldn't operate the system properly because all the sth tickets were already reserved! had to wait 15 mins before somone else turned up who could. Funny thing was they had 2 people serving in the shop that was pretty empty! apparently they couldn't help out "because it was seperate to the ticket office". Absolute shambles particularly after the performance today.... SUFC just don't help themselves sometimes

The club shop is a franchise, the ticket office is run by the club

Document the entire saga and send it to the new CEO. Get to him whilst he's still keen.

I have exactly the same poblem. Both my Sons and my seaso's were taken off us at the beginning of september as they did not work. I have waited six weeks and just keep getting fobbed off about the card machine not working. I Spoke to the manager on tuesday and she applogised again and gave me Brian Wheelers number as he was handling things and then she she had quit and was doing them a favour by coming in that day. I got a phone call to say that the machine was still not working and tickets would be sent to the west stand to be collected, which they was'nt. I am of the opinion we are so strapped for cash they they cannot afford to mend the b***Y thing, because after two months someone needs shooting!

UPDATE

Just sent a steaming E.Mail off to the commercial DPT (commercial@southend-united.co.uk ) Suggest anyone else who is totally fed up does the same!

The thing is I can't rember a time when the ticket office wasn't a shambles. Thankfully my season card works so I'm a lucky one
 
Ha Ha someone beat me to it about the shambles after the game in the ticket office. There must of been a queue of about 50 people wanting to buy tickets for the FA Cup game on Saturday and most were standing outside in the cold. The poor lad serving kept very calm, it wasn't his fault though. Congratulations to the guy who got his ticket after about 15 mins, a cheer went up when he got it. We didn't get ours we paid the guy who said he would take address's and send them out. A few other did the same as well.

Ron sort it out, do you want our money and support?

Ive just sent an email to the club like must others on here i dont blame the ticket office staff as they seem like there been chucked in at the deep end.Its just frustrating been sent from ticket office to collections then back to ticket office and qeueing up again when you shouldnt have to
 
I have e-mailed Steve Kavanagh regarding this and a couple of other points.

It doesn't help with our quest to get the South open for Saturday as that will require very good advance sales which won't happen if people can't get tickets.
 
Bunch of clueless kids in there. I have had no end of problems. Only just got my season tickets working last game. Quite embarrassing really.

Same here! Although in fairness, I doubt the "clueless kids" that you refer to have anything to do with the shambolic system and turnstiles. They take too much stick on behalf of the club IMO!

Actually one time it was completely there fault actually rather than systems. Asked to move my season ticket to the north for one game only and he went and changed it for the whole season!
