Personally feel the pub may was well be renamed The Nursey - "a place where all can feel free to chat as long as its nothing controversial or exciting and your gran can read it."

If I may add my two cents (no more, I'm not made of money), after Tonicgate I spoke to the mods to convey my displeasure but also to hold my hands up and say 'It's your board, it's free, I love it, so I will accept what you say'. That attitude still holds.

However, I agree 100% with DtS and on review of the 'Poster of the Year' thread, with regards to the Pub, I would humbly contend that our opinions count.

FWIW I don't feel any satisfaction with the way events have unfolded. I've expressed my views publicly and have received little personal abuse, as it should be.

I still believe an adult members only forum on SZ is the way forward and though you can't prevent people lying about their age I'm sure the vast majority could prove it, even from afar if they were that desperate to participate. One day when some of you have kids that are already growing up far too quickly you might have more sympathy for my views. I'm suspecting the minority may not be as small as people think.

Im a lurker and my opinion might not hold any weight as you all dont know me personally, but I cant help but be annoyed at those who complain about the threads when they've clicked on them to view them. If you dont want to be offended, then dont look at the thread!

Personally if this "Pub" had more restrictions like this, then it would be closed because of lack of business ;)

With all due respect mate, you can't make your mind up sometimes until you've viewed them. Thread titles don't always give you a full, frank and clear picture.
