All depends on your company internet policy I'd guess.
Seeing as there's more of us here 8 until 6, I'd say probably not a lot of companies have issues with accessing a football forum. I can't however access sites such as Facebook, MySpace etc at work and we're not supposed to use Yahoo or MSN mail but somebody has found a workaround to get into mailboxes.

No Dave is the simple answer....I have put in the pub section ..OVERLY sexual material......I cannot for one minute see that the majority of Zoners would have any interest in "Teabaging"......I have never even heard the word before....but the explicit graphic detail described in it was in the Owners opinion way over the top.

Please try to see we have to run this site for all Zoners and only act on something after several complaints have been received, or we deem it as the OWNERS to be over the top.

I'm not being funny, and I mean this in the best possible way, but what exactly do people expect when they come across a thread titled "Threesomes (Not For Kids)"? It's the equivalent of you turning on your TV, sitting down to watch a program called "Filthy Sl*t gets Banged" and then moaning about the graphic content on TV....

If it's possible to be coded, why not have a seperate Pub Forum that grants access only to people Over 16 or 18?

Yes, but those are the only 2 who have commented publicly they were aganst the threads. You don't know how many "Report Thread" alerts the mods have received!

As above, no it appears it cannot be encrypted to ban entry to U16s or U18s!

you keep on going on about the teabagging thread... I'm still yet to hear a decent reason for deleting the Bun Fun thread when a lot of similar threads like "roughest bird", "threesomes" etc are still (rightly) allowed.

My fear if i am honest is that this site loses what made it original which was the fact it was a good laugh and you could talk about anything you wanted as long as it was legal.

If you remove that from the zone then I fail to see what you have that differentiates yourselves from the other sites that have come and gone.

I personally come on this site for a laugh with your mates (all be it internet mates for some people) and a blokes chat. If you remove topics just because a few people are offended by them you remove from my personal experience of this site a large proportion of the laughs we have.

I do understand you as a Mods predicament but all you as mods seem to have done here is ostracised one group of people for another.

Ok technical point of view here, many modern web caches/proxies will automatically download content from websites you visit in the anticipation that you may require the content soon, so even if you have not clicked on a specific page or thread your companies web proxy will be getting the content regardless.

Web content monitoring software can be configured to look for key words and log them and the user either viewing or posting them. This information can be used to determine company policy.

A company may at the moment have a relaxed approach to forums and such, however if a forum kept appearing on the keyword logger then either forums as a whole will be blocked or that particular website.

Of course some companies maybe happy that you did not actually click the page but will wonder why you are visiting such a site

You will never know what your company knows about your browsing habits until they call you in or have to make a decision on redundancy.

So now the threesome thread and roughest bird thread have been deleted... this has gone far too far IMO and i reckon that all that is going to happen is that the pub becomes a very quiet place from now on. a vocal minority with varying reasons along with some very heavy-handed moderating has really damaged the pub IMO... i would love to believe that the threads being deleted was a joint decision by the mods and owners... but i really doubt it
