I don't really know what has gone on here but I feel sorry for the mods who seem to get the abuse.Why are people trying to make things harder for them? They spend their free time trying to make the site a better place.They are not getting paid for cleaning up the constant ****e people seem to insist on leaving on their doorstep. If you don't like the site then don't use it.

If the behaviour does not stop, then this website is going to be ruined for everyone. The Mods and owners of this site do a fantastic job with what is provided for us, but (correct me if I am wrong) its not like they dont have better things to do, so stop pushing them. If it carries on like this I can see the mods giving up, and the "happy escape" of the Zone we all loved will be gone for ever.

We have many brilliant members on this website, and 97.42% of us (yes I have been doing my statistical research on the matter) get on very well. We may not always agree, but the whole point is that this is an opinion based website, where we should all have the common decency to respect that not everyone thinks the same as you. The world (not just the Zone) would be a very boring place if everyone did.

The essence of any opinion based message board is that there will be disagreements and differences of opinion, and long may that be the case, as if everyone held the same view SZ would be sterile. However and as you have rightly pointed out there has to be standards of behaviour and decorum.

I would suggest that many of our keyboard warriors are socially inadequate and find that their internet persona is a comfort blanket as they sit in their darkened bedrooms hunched over a keyboard 24 hours a day.

I don't hunch; it's bad for the posture. the rest of it is shamefully true however... now I'm off to eat 3 packs of pringles and hurl abuse at people with incorrect opinions about Doctor Who.

For what t's worth, I think you do a brilliant job here and the site is a credit to you. I wonder if any of the players read it?

It's been confirmed in the past that a number of players look at the forum from time to time, as well as RM I believe.

I love Shrimperzone. It's been my conduit to some truly wonderful people who have, in time, become personal friends. It's entertaining, it's exciting, it's even occasionally educational, but crikeydays, it's just a website. It's not actually real-life.

The owners have my unlimited respect for their patience. If I were in their shoes, I think I'd have thrown my hands up in the air and given up on it by now.
