**** me...Why on earth do we need an 18+ forum.....Surely most people on here have some common sense and do not want to offend others.

We are all SUFC fans .....The Basis of this Forum is that .all else is secondry

i wasn't actually arguing that we did need one, just respondng to the points about the technicalities of age restrictions. I think the NSFW 18+ addition to thread titles was a perfectly good compromise.
 
sod all this nonsence... i'm going out for a beer. if people are getting frustrated with SZ then try taking a few days off... that's what i've been trying to do recently, along with not trying to stick my oar in every major thread. i'm a bit embarassed by the amount of posts i've managed to rack up, because 99% of them are probably drivel, even if i have managed to rack up some respect on the way. let's all just take a bit of time out to let things calm down, give the mods and owners a break because if it was me i would have packed it in days ago! also i'm sure they want to hear suggestions, but keep them constructive and positive, i actually think in the past few weeks we've managed to establish the NSFW agreement for "rude" threads and that's a positive step. i think other than that the rules are fair and simple and don't really see why there should be any contention and why they don't allow for fans to interact, debate, discuss and follow the highs and lows of our beloved Southend United

I don't even want to discuss Bentley, TB etc etc, i think to do so would be massaging their egos, but some of the things i've read and heard about that have happened have been disgusting and embarassing... so lets all show a little bit more love and respect, that doesn't mean you have to like or agree with someone, but that's life!

If the behaviour does not stop, then this website is going to be ruined for everyone. The Mods and owners of this site do a fantastic job with what is provided for us, but (correct me if I am wrong) its not like they dont have better things to do, so stop pushing them. If it carries on like this I can see the mods giving up, and the "happy escape" of the Zone we all loved will be gone for ever.

We have many brilliant members on this website, and 97.42% of us (yes I have been doing my statistical research on the matter) get on very well. We may not always agree, but the whole point is that this is an opinion based website, where we should all have the common decency to respect that not everyone thinks the same as you. The world (not just the Zone) would be a very boring place if everyone did.

Spot on, this site should only be 18+ at the same time that going to the football becomes 18+
