Why is it that for days you've known where something was and the minute you need it, it's no longer there?

Because they are ugly and they smell.

Slightly metaphorical one, but why do people wear civvy combat trousers, or any trousers to the gym? You're there to train, not to be part of a fashion parade!
 
They're light, tough, and mean you don't freeze your legs off when you jog/walk/get on the bus/what have you to the gym.
