Theresa May - Dead woman walking?

With deliberate spin and miss quote, you should get yourself a job with Sky news Tangled.

I pointed out to you that whilst UNCTROLLED Immigration was on peoples list, we were more concerned with EU financial failure, corruption in Brussels and power crazed nobodies waving their wined soaked little finger at us British.

In other words things you have not only benefitted from but have encouraged and at times, seem to relish.

I have certainly benefitted from the free movement of labour in the EU.Not from anything else you mention.

I've also heard people complaining about Brexit who have lived in Spain or France for donkeys years, what a cheek, let me remind these people, you don't live here anymore, mind you own very foreign business.

The fact that I remain a UK citizen (and have a British passport to prove it) fully entitles me to air a civilised opinion about Brexit or anything else on SZ.

I wish I could comment on this absolute ****ing mess from afar I really do.

And as I reminded Riggers and others - speak for yourself alone in why you cast your vote. There are a myriad of reasons why people voted both ways.

As Yogi and I have both pointed out on here before now, neither of us could vote in the referendum, because of the 15 year rule. This might well be changed from next year.

I would also say that I’m confident illegal immigration, which we are talking about here at the moment, was very very low on the list of ‘most popular reasons for voting to leave the EU’. Uncontrolled legal migration yes, illegal migration no.

I have strong doubts about this personally.

Who is paying Spain's debts......Not you

Forget nationalising the railways..... If we kept our £10b per year, then every single rail journey in the UK could be free.

After what was said yesterday you might have to give that British passport up for a Spainish or French one if you want to stay in the sun.

I continue to work here on a PT basis, therefore I imagine ,that like everyone eslse,I'm making a contribution to paying off Spain's debt.

Talk about Corbyn and his Robin Hood policies! The Uk's rebate to the EU won't be used to give the NHS 350 million quid a week and we both know it.That was a lie to fool gullible people.

Just renewed my burgundy UK passport last May, so it's still valid for another 10 years.Never been remotely tempted to take out Spanish or French citizenship.Though I could do either.Thanks.

You might not want to but you might have to. You should listen to LBC, some scarey stuff being dicussed on there.

I know you Southern Europeans have trouble with your financial acumen, so I'll keep it simple.... If you spend more every year than you ever pay off, then the debt increases.

Eventually the good people who have kindly payed off your frivolous debt get the right hump. Especially when they see some of you retiring at 60 whilst theirs has been put up to 67......They end up voting for change...….No amount of red bus, straw man argument will change that fact.

In other news, James Dutteridge has submitted a motion of no confidence in the PM to the 1922 Committee. Bye bye career James.

FYI,the retirement age in Spain is 65 rising progressively to 67.So I wasn't able to retire until I was 65 +6 months, some 18 months ago now.

Btw,having studied Economics at A level, I know the difference between government debt and the deficit and also how debt increases. .Thanks.

Anyone who thinks the referendum result wasn't primarily about immigration is living in cloud cuckoo land.Certainly Mrs May got the message. That's why she was so keen to unveil new plans for post-Brexit immigration at the Tory party conference.
