I hope you’re right mrs Booma isn’t going to be happy that the ironing isn’t done
Put it on hangers and stick it in the boiler cupboard. Job done.

Really hoping this isn’t another false dawn. We all deserve this Christmas present.
Anyone know who these 2 are?.And the Echo can now confirm Paul and Ian Redbourn are also part of the consortium.
You’ve backed the wrong Aussie thereI’ve just bloody bought a Spurs shirt… FFS
Exactly this ....They are trying.
They have stopped giving deadlines. They’ve said that themselves. They gave the 1st November, which was ambitious, then the end of the month and that’s it.
17th November was never a deadline set by them.
They have tried to keep quiet, and then got called out by the protest group, and provided an update and then got moaned at for not giving a completion date. They explained at the agm they don’t want to give dates again incase they miss them, then they got moaned at.
Might get a few of these in later anticipating something to celebrate. Seeing as Justin Rees is a New South Wales boy and this is a VERY nice drop from south of the border.
Colour scheme of the can is appropriate too
Blues deal edges closer as Ron Martin agrees terms with council
SOUTHEND United chairman Ron Martin and Southend City Council leader Tony Cox have agreed terms relating to the residential development of Fossetts…www.echo-news.co.uk
SOUTHEND United chairman Ron Martin and Southend City Council leader Tony Cox have agreed terms relating to the residential development of Fossetts Farm.
The deal had been the last major stumbling block in Justin Rees and his consortium completing their takeover of the club as it was a requirement for the Shrimpers to stay at Roots Hall under the new ownership.
The agreement is still subject to cabinet approval in early 2024 but there there is now said to be sufficient confidence to proceed with the sale of the football club to the consortium.
The Echo has previously revealed that joining Australian Rees in the consortium are David Kreyling and Tom Arnold, the Founders of CSL Group which drives sport for social change, Hong Kong based hedge fund manager Jason Brown, John Watson, the owner of packaging and taxi businesses and Gary Lockett the chairman of the Southend United Community & Educational Trust.
They will be joined by the son of former MP Teddy Taylor, George who is a Hong-Kong based investor and is currently a director at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers.
And the Echo can now confirm Paul and Ian Redbourn are also part of the consortium.
The remaining work needed to complete the sale of the club to the consortium is procedural in nature and further updates will be provided when an exact date is confirmed.
The consortium have been funding the club in recent months and it was revealed at last week's Shrimpers Trust AGM that more than £500,000 has already been invested by the businessmen.
However, the Blues are still being hindered by a transfer embargo due to money owed to HMRC and the consortium have confirmed that their focus is on lifting the restrictions as quickly as possible.
The Shrimpers have been under the embargo since September 2022 and could only select one substitute for Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Bromley at Roots Hall.
Oh dear, another porky pie from the Pinocchio account
With transfers and intel on the players side I agree. Whenever they have leaked bits info about the takeover and stuff such as RM being at RH yesterday however they have been proven factually incorrect.
Yes, Justin introduced me to Ian and his son on Saturday. Had a really long discussion him and he seems a really good guy. He's been a fan for a long time and really excited about the times ahead. Spoke very fondly of Justin's leadership. Both went to school in Southend

Yeah Paul was in my year at SHSB.
Also think his list of players we are looking at is pretty accurate as well although one we’ve already missed out on.No forgetting that @londonshrimper. was the one that first announced the Redbourn brothers & George Taylor being part of the consortium about two weeks ago.
Gets a lot of unfair criticism, but another thing he got right.
@Paddypel you were saying...
