We are delighted to unveil a new sign which has been installed on the front of the Foxhie East Stand at Roots Hall.

Replacing the previous ‘Welcome to Southend United’, we are proud to present the new and improved light-up design which now adorns the main stand.

We would like to thank Katie and Matt at Foxhie Piercing and Aesthetics who supported the Club two months ago in investing in the new sign which now sits pride of place above the main reception.

Don’t think it will illuminate as it’s just a vinyl (or similar) sheet with the graphics printed on. Although it may well be it’s by a spotlight I guess..

Oh well, wrong again! It is illuminated, and will look great!
