Why? there will be plenty of seats available.I really hope safe standing never happens.

Funnily enough some of the Oxford squad and management team ended up in the Far post bar after the match. This thread is so intetesting.
I'm sure the players would like a socialising area where post match they can be closer to family and fans post match. Walsall as an example.
Question for you Sherif H. Is it possible to lower the pitch significantly and would this help the restricted views of the South and West stands and resolve the drop off around the North East side of the pitch.
Looking at your initial drawings it also occurred to me that the North East quadrant could provide a covered coach reception area for away teams
Was surprised by how light the segregation divider was at Carrow Road a few weeks back when Millwall were in town.I've not seen any trouble, plenty of noise, but not a punch in sight, not even Millwall, though I tend to stay in when that fixture comes around
Safe standing reminds me of the soulless modern grounds. I prefer how it is now and just standingWhy? there will be plenty of seats available.
His best position is left wing-back.Bridge to the new east stand?
Just got to love the Roots Hall roar and the NB would intensify that .Not a better man on the planet to have involved in the sprucing up of the old girl. I look forward to hearing and seeing the plans for the place in due course.
I also hope consideration will be given to returning the North Bank to home fans, safe standing ideally. With better sight lines and improved facilities, a packed North Bank will be worth a number of points over a season.
See the video from the Oxford City manager post match below, who suggested his players didn't cope with the atmosphere at all well on Tuesday. Having the NB back IMO is well worth the outlay as it will cause many other teams to fold under the atmosphere. Especially at this level!
It's literally a bar with a seat that can be locked in position. It's no different to terracing except you have a better control on numbers in the area.Safe standing reminds me of the soulless modern grounds. I prefer how it is now and just standing
I’m probably wrong in my thinking to be fair. My brain just connects safe standing with a lot of stadiums I hate. Anyway all I want is the north bank back, if it’s split between us and away fans then so be it. (That’ll just improve the atmosphere even more)It's literally a bar with a seat that can be locked in position. It's no different to terracing except you have a better control on numbers in the area.
I'd sooner a dedicated safe standing area than persistent standing from someone a few rows in front in a seated area
Well if you want standing section in the Football League I think it would have to be a safe standing section. I don't like standing but would be more open to using a safe standing area if it was thereSafe standing reminds me of the soulless modern grounds. I prefer how it is now and just standing
I’d give a kidney to be back in the North so I’d definitely take safe standingWell if you want standing section in the Football League I think it would have to be a safe standing section. I don't like standing but would be more open to using a safe standing area if it was there
If everyone sat down in the W block there’d be no atmosphere. And they get away with it because you can’t force 100s of people to sit down.I don't understand how the W block get away with it, way too many in there to the amount of seats and all standing?
