Gold for Rebecca Romero in the 3k individual pursuit to go with her double sculls medal from Athens. That is just amazing, winning gold in two different sports. Hats off to Wendy Houvenaghel (sp?) for her silver too.

What a fantastic weekend of sport that was! Brilliant.

8 Gold medals for team GB (11 total), Phelps gets his 8 golds, Bolt with an amazing run.

Well done to Louis Smith for getting a bronze, our first gymnastics medal for a century!

I think he'll be close, definitely sub 9.60. he had won it before the race had started - supremely confident and relaxed, whereas Asafa Powell looked like he was being sick in his mouth!
