The Frenchman is currently on trial at West Ham United after revealing in yesterday’s Echosport that he was keen to quit Roots Hall .

No he revealed on Facebook

I am assuming that having Moshni trial at a premiership club (even West Ham) where it is expected several other scouts will be on attendence will add to his worth, not detract from it . Assuming of course he doesn't have one of his 'moments'

Therfore is we were thinking of selling him this is a good thing IMO

But why didn't we tell a little white lie and say that we had given him permission to trial at West Ham ?
If /once he signs somewhere else the club could have then told us the truth and explained the (obvious) rationale for telling us some little white lies. If PS does a Q&A again I ahve no doubt that this will come up- I for one would like to ask. Or am I being naive and frankly it makes no difference to the price on what we say publically ?

Not sure I understand the point you are making.

We have given him permission to trial with West Ham, or he wouldnt be there.

Have I missed something , or am I having a moment??

But if Bilel still has an active contract , but has been for a trial, with another club, surely this is dodgy ground for the Spammers?

Offering an already contracted player from another club and trial must be close to breaking league rules etc?

No - not at all. rules would only be broken if "terms" are offered. A contracted player can go on trial with as many clubs as he chooses without breaking any league rules. If the trials are not with the blessing of the existing club then it is an internal club disciplinary matter, nothing to do with the Governing Body.

It's similar to buying a second hand car....you would be unlikely to go a far as "offering terms of purchase or any form of contract" without a test drive. A club would only be in breach of league rules if after the test drive they decide they would like to proceed and discuss terms with the player (or the players representative) without permission from the current owners.

If you see what I mean, with the rather bad metaphors.

Mohsni may well not go "on the cheap", but what happens if no-one decides to have him? Yes he is still contracted to Southend, but surely, after his comments that he no longer wishes to be at Southend in favour of playing at a higher level elsewhere, he wont be part of any of PS plans for the coming season?
IMO a player who does not want to be 100% part of the team, should not be at the club.

What the **** will they learn about him playing against a Ryman North side

.. unless he eats one of the Grays lads i spose :smiles:

Does not bode well for Bilel. Looks like his Prem dream is over already I would say

or to put it another way,
he has not been through an accademy in the same way as the others, and Wetspam see him as a late developer with lots of potential and a player for the future. Therefore they are comparing him with others from the developmental squad They already know he is not good enough for the first team today .
Maybe he will play 45mins and 45 mins sat?
Maybe they are trying to put off the scouts from the other clubs from watching him

on relection the above thoughts are rubbish - I don't get it either
