WHAT THE F---!? Dudfield's goals stopped us slipping into the Conference!! A great signing at the right time.

Definately, Dudfield saved us and Nicky gave us a little bit of class when we really needed it. I thought it was a shame to lose the pair but I doubt they could have cut it at this level.

Well Done Shaun on a great instinctive goal yesterday.

BTW Dudders on the bench for Boston yesterday. Think he would have struggled this year, although a bench place for us has gotta be better than the same at Boston hasn't it?

Have to say although Eastwood is having a tougher time of it in front of goal this year he would still be a big miss for us as his all round play has come on leaps. Good assist for Bents yesterday (also Gower vs Swindon).

Keep it up Freds you are quality!!

ps- Can recall Eagle for def. if required?

Didn't the Brizzle City and Oldham fans say Freddy was the best player they've faced this season by some distance? I think Eastwood's done great this season personally.

Didn't Lawrie have the presence of mind to clip the ball to Freddy in front of goal in the dying moments of the first half at the play-off final to give us the lead!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't he score in the last minute to give us the win against Chester

worst signing!!!! get a grip!!

With you on Constantine wiggy. I was never one of those happy to see him go. "He does nothing but score". But he scored 25 goals and saved us from the Conference!

There's no way Lawrie meant that 'pass' to Eastwood.

However, he was a very good signing and scored some vital goals. The one against Chester was a class above.

As for Constantine, I've never had any problems with him in terms of ability. However, look at his career as a whole and his attitude clearly stinks. Basically, he joins clubs on a short-term basis, scores enough goals to win a longer term contract and then... heads straight for the comfort zone. It happened at Peterborough (because he was given a two-year deal straight away), it happened at Torquay and it will probably happen at Port Vale if he gets a decent deal at the end of the season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for what Leon did at Southend and he does have an eye for goal but he strikes me as someone who doesn't really like football and sees it purely as a livelihood. Bearing in mind our achievements since he left, we've hardly missed him anyway.
