Ah, but I am more than happy to have a full blooded, kick bottom discussion on the merits of left/right views but unfortunatly they are more often than not hi-jacked by oafs who scream bigot (is not the worst bigot one who will not allow another view?) Or by those who cannot conduct themselves without bleating on about 'It's our country and we want it back from *insert whatever here*

I find it boring and non productive and will not be dragged into a slanging match of 'my dads bigger than your dad' proportions. It is childish and purile and unless the mods can provide a area where sensible debate can be conducted without count crunching from the likes of Pubey and druncken ramblings from True Blue then im afraid we will not be able to cross swords as gentlemen. A shame but thats the way it is, unless Cricko or Matt want to change that.

But I wont be drawn into name calling, bignose.

A good meaty debate can be very interesting , but on boards like this I wonder if peoples opinions are ever swayed , regardless of the argument put forward. I have rarely seen (?) a debate where , unless is it based on cold hard facts , someones opinion actually changes ... I suppose it is up to those with differing opinions to put their points over as eloquently as possible and "win over" those who have not formed a solid opinion (who in instances like this one probably stopped reading this thread days ago)

But it does if you go down to the quantum level - time can run forwards as well as backwards, so it therefore must have some existance beyond our perception.....:p
