The American Gun Law

Hate that film. Can't actually watch the thing. First time I've ever walked out of a film because I didn't want to watch it.

Mind you, I always get that muddled with another Columbine flick, think it's Elephant or something. Wasn't a doumentary.

You're clearly thinking of Gus Van Sant's Elephant, which was a fictionalised account of the Columbine killings. While nowhere near as good as BFC, it has its moments(IMO).

Just received my NRA Visa card, 0% interest for the first year (for NRA members), and a percentage of every purchase made with the card goes to defending second amendment rights. I might put my new assault rifle on it, seems wrong not to.

Second amend rights need defending considerably, I would imagine that trying to establish a well regulated Militia would meet with quite a bit of opposition.

Why stop there? Surely you need a bazooka under your bed in case of alien attack?

I trust your own Green card is up to date? :winking:

I don't have one.

In my time I had a J1 (temporary immigration) visa -valid to work for 3 months in the summer.
I'm reliably informed by a recent student of mine, who's gone back to work in SF for a year, that she needed a visa before she could take up full time employment in the US too.I believe her non-working boyfriend was granted a J1 visa for study purposes.

Before the law changed I occasionally went pistol shooting at a gun club in Dartford.

On one occasion I was approached by a bloke with a shaved head and dressed head to toe in full disruptive pattern camouflage who complemented me on my shooting, looked both ways to check the coast was clear before un-holstering a gun, passing it to me and whispering "try this, its what the SAS use".

Good for you. I have a US passport.
