I don't think I've ever read so much smug sanctimonious crap in my life. All of the usual anti-racist crowd just can't wait to get out there and talk about inbred racist redneck yanks (who much to my chagrin, insisted on electing a black president). If you want to make decisions based on obvious cause and effect, then don't let people call Muhammed on commercial flights. No? Doesn't fit in to your multi-culti pieties? I am a proud NRA member, and my wife and children are able to sleep soundly in their beds at night because Johnny Burglar and Winston Rapist don't fancy the odds of a homeowner packing a Tec-9. But I imagine that the self-righteous Brits are happier to look down their noses and keep repairing the shattered glass.

Wow just Wow, I hardly think name calling and keeping a gun are quite the same...The fact is your kids may sleep safely in their beds but when it seems they go to school all hell is let lose. Johnny Burglar and Winston Rapist don't exactly fit the picture, so that makes the USA an out of date moratorium as far as guns are concerned...Have gun laws for you Cowboys that remain in the land of the OK Coral or continue the sufferance you bring on yourselves.

The rules governing the right "to bear arms" from the constitution are 250 years old and way out of date in the current world. I can hardly imagine your forefathers in Philadelphia sanctioning some gun running brothers in Miami busting a few caps in somebody.

Yes there are, but we suffer a far lower rate of burglary and home invasion (in states and cities where gun ownership is permitted) than in the UK. I haven't blown away every rapist and burglar in my city, because none of them have tried to break into my house.

No i would guess that what he writes is what he beilieves and i believe that if he moved in near my family then i would move to protect my loved ones because guns need loose cannons to kill poeple.

In a recent poll 71% of those American citizens polled were in favour of handgun ownership, despite a few pro-gun senators (both Republican and Democrat) softening their usual hardline approach to ownership.

Unfortunately when this hideous crime becomes another sad memory (like Virgina Tech, Columbine) then things will carry on the same.

And it will happen again. And we will be able to name the killer whilst not being able to name a single one of those murdered.
