Of course. When it continues there's food for thought.
But some of the postings want Maher gone now, despite all that's gone before.
On that premise, Man City should be sacking Pep with only three wins from the last seven, not counting the Salford FA Cup thrashing.
There is no comparison between the two is there pep can get who he likes

The squad is ****e And the board can't invest in to it atm

No idea what sacking the NL 23/24 manager of the season will achieve

Do you really think a club that can't afford to invest in to the team will have the money to sack Maher and bring in an improved manager?

Strap in, see what the summer brings in terms of investment (if any) and then judge Maher. He's yet to have a transfer window where he can sign who he wants (which will be the same for anyone who replaces him)

They are not bottom because of Moncur. His arrival there has sparked things up but almost certainly too late to save them. We never got the best out of him because of Maher's deadbeat tactics.
No they're bottom because of the style of football they're playing that is allowing Moncur to score

Surely it is blatantly obvious for all to see that Maher is not the coach to get us back to the EFL. No amount of excuses can keep being trotted out. He needs to go now. It would be folly for COSU to keep faith in him or to allow any more signings with him in charge. His shortcomings - inflexibilty, negativity, playing favourites regardless of form, lack of proactivity during a game, questionable use and timings of substitutions, berating players during a game who don't stick religiously to the plan etc etc are on display in every game and never more so than yesterday.

Who's Mayer??

That's the point!
He's been a success, and in a lesser way taking an embargoed club to the very last day for a play-off place is equally commendable. And yet, tongue-in-cheek away fans have taken to telling Pep in recent games he's getting sacked in the morning, lol!
How you can even begin to compare Maher's record in any way shape or form with Guardiola's? How can 'a lesser way' be 'equally commendable'?

The unfortunate truth is that we have had to trade any hope of promotion in the next 5-10 years in return for the benefit of survival as a Club.
Massively depressing when you consider we have a larger average attendance than many League One clubs, and are routinely getting penetrated by clubs with Isthmian League followings. Many more years of this mediocre crap to come I'm afraid.
I am not sure that is sustainable. If we don’t show ambition, interest and crowds will drift. I already see a reduction in season ticket holders next year. This is an entertainment and results business, standard business models will not work.

Ticket revenue is unlikely to be effected this season as so many of us, me included, have season tickets.

Next season will be telling as I suspect that the euphoria of new owners will have long since passed and it will be interesting to see what the season ticket sales will be.

After decades of having a season ticket, if things continue unabated, then it is extremely unlikely that I will renew mine and I say that with an extremely heavy heart 😢

...because one's comparing success.
If you can spend bazillions, you've got a head start, but you've still got to deliver.
If you're hamstrung in every which way and still bring relative success, it's a different but lesser version of the same thing.

Foden wouldn't get a look in if Maher was there. KDB would be b****cked for playing risky balls and banned from shooting outside the 6 yard box. Barnardo Silva would be blasted for making forward runs not getting back quick enough.

Thats the exact reason i said make Currie the interim manager for the remainder of the season ,lets see how he performs . With the same set of players

As a home game is a 350mile round trip for me obviously I don’t get to as many as I’d like to.

Last season was 7 home games with the rest of the home and away games being watched on NLTV.

This season I started watching all games on DAZN at a tenner a pop, with the absolute dross we’ve been playing I stopped wasting my money on that and since November have been listening to games on BBC Essex but even that’s getting to the point where it’s a waste of 2 hours of my life with the same dreary tactics, poor team selections and baffling substitutions being served up week after week.

Surely there must be one among the 3 amigos who should be coming out and saying this isn’t working we need to change it round instead of thinking don’t worry lads stick with it coz it will work this week.

At this rate it will be a long time before I consider another 350 mile round trip………….mind you I’ve tentatively got my fingers crossed for another Wembley day out 🤞😉🤣
