Thanks Kev - but is a new manager needed?

Should Maher go?

Switch Kendall for Walker and Gubbins for Golding and I’m on board.
I must admit, I was toying between Walker and Kendall, and the only reason I went with Walker, is because he was excellent in that position against FGR, and therefore I'll would leave Kendall to bring on.

Wouldn't be against Golding instead of Gubbins either.

Like that but would have Kendall in ahead of Walker. Yesterday Kendall did more in 15 minutes than either Bim or Walker combined
I dont understand buying a striker who is in form, match fit and raring to go then shove them on the bench.

Surely you tell kendall, he's the man, the no1 thats why we signed him..

Story of most of our signings lately, backup like for like squad players who arent as good or arent kevs favourites....

Because he's local and watched the club as a youngster. Dropped down to Cambridge when they were struggling and if you get this club on the up, back in the EFL not only will you get much kudos in the game, but the potential to go higher than L2 is also there, as it's been done before........twice.
Feel like Harris is the type of Steve Evans sort of manager. Will only get clubs that need stabilising as no team will willing want the style of football if they are hoping to win a league etc.

Gateshead have now scored 45 goals this season...... a team that takes less than 50 fans to away games and has some home crowds smaller than we took to York yesterday.

I don't want Maher to go, but it's getting harder to think of reasons why he should stay.
They do have 11 midfielders to choose from, it might help a bit

He would be interested if we gave him top 3 budget for this league. Anything less I can't see him dropping as low as the national league. He wouldn't come to us if we offer mid table budget which is probably what kev operating on currently.

He was short of football at Woking, so probably not quite as fit as we think. I would be very surprised if he didn't start on Boxing Day.

This season was always going to be about transition ans we will likely finish mid-table so there is no need to panic just yet. We are going through a tough period and are a couple of years behind where we should be due to the embargo and protracted takeover.

Give Kev a year, if by this time next season we aren't in the playoff positions we should make a change.

There are some big decisions to be made this summer, Bridge has been fantastic for us but is leaving his prime years. Cav simply hasn't been the same player since getting injured last season & Ralph needs someone to challenge his position / become his replacement

Nonsense, he’s got the players to ease into top 7….he chooses a nil nil strategy EVERY WEEK

Lose to ebbsfleet, who are woeful infront of over 8k and I can really see things getting toxic.

Didn't go yesterday or watch as I was at a wedding but the highlights are dreadful.

How is Miley getting game time? In the highlights he was literally just walking to close down.

I heard a rumour of Kev wanting to sweep the kensdale situation under the carpet and the players saying they would refuse to play in the same team. This forced kevs hand. We have been dreadful and I'm wondering if the players lost respect for him. This certainly isn't a side that is playing at 100% or anywhere close.

Something has to change. Either the style and or the starting 11 or the management. Worryingly, I can't see any of the above changing.

I hope Cosu aren't expecting 7k average next season and season card renewals. We will be lucky to get 5500 avergage playing this grade of football.

That never happened.

The players refused to play with Kensdale, but Kev never wanted to sweep it under the carpet.

It should be crystal clear by now that we are going nowhere with the present set up. No doubt we will get maximum points against two teams even worse than us in Ebbsfleet and Braintree but that will not change anything in the long run. The project has run its course. Bridge, Miley and Husin, three key players in our siege mentality period have gone completely off the boil and mental, if not physical exhaustion seems to have set in across the players and management. The longer this limbo goes on, the worse it will get. Even Tamworth, with ex blue Wreh scoring the winner, are above us now, which says it all.

Ralph has probably been up there with our best performers this season. Very underrated by our fanbase imo especially as he majority of the time he plays with a LWB that has no defensive bone in his body
