Thanks Kev - but is a new manager needed?

And if you add the 'on the fence' voters who clearly have reservations otherwise they would be voting 'no', there is really nothing in it. if you add the 'on the fence' voters who clearly have reservations otherwise they would be voting 'no', there is really nothing in it.
Or...if you add the 'on the fence' voters who clearly have reservations off getting rid of him, otherwise they would be voting 'yes', there is 2/3 voting no. You can't just bend statistics to suit one side of the debate 🤔

If you are on the fence you are not sure so your vote could go either way obviously. But the fact that you have doubts cannot be franslated into support for Maher. The jury is out.

So many off topic comments on here. On other threads they would not be allowed so why here? The question asked at the head is still highly relevant despite the efforts of some to shut it down, in some cases by abusive and scurrilous remarks aimed at the poster rather than addressing the issues. Four draws in the last six games is not play off form, overall the season has been patchy and disappointing with all the signs that were there seasons ago that the present regime do not have what it takes to get us out of this division. To try to shut down debate is the antithesis of what a forum should be about.
As repetitive and boring as some comments from the "Maher Out" voters are, there are enough of them to keep it a relevant discussion, and healthy debate shouldn't just be shut down.

The irony in the bolded bits of your post is mad, though.

if they are as astute and visionary as some claim, they will at some point have to aknowledge that change is needed to get out of the NL rather than be content with every season under Maher falling short of the target.
We got in the playoffs last year. Other than coming top that's the best you can do in this division.

There is no irony except as perceived by you. I have never personally abused a fellow poster, unlike some (mad??!!) nor posted off topic comments the like of which were in evidence yesterday.

Yu show me a manager or head coach that has worked for seson after season with one hand behind his back .Had it not be for that shister Martin getting the club punished by a 10 point penalty And still finished just out side the play offs with a very small squad . And even though the take over was completed Yet again we suffered a embargo So weven with a new chairman we suffered having a very little pre season and could not bring in any faces we were looking to bring in . Now next season we will start on a level playing field So on t5hat point kevin and his staff should be given a real chance to prove there worth .

There is plenty.

I thought this was a bit of an unpleasant tone several weeks ago.
There will always br apologists and excuse makers for the present regime, largely based on sentiment.

Followed up by this ironic gem, from a poster whose tone has been the epitome of unpleasant and divisive at times.
There is an unpleasant and divisive undertone creeping into some posts.

You have brought your persistent Maher Out message onto countless other tenuously-linked threads other than this one, too, and that's without including the pre and post-match threads. Differences of opinion are one thing..... taking over threads with tiresome repetition is another.

One thing I’d say in response to this is that he’s not alone, there’s plenty of the Maher in crowd that take over other threads as well, and if people make snide comments about others on another thread it’s going to cause a response. Whoever starts it.

I always try and be respectful of others views even if I disagree with them, that’s the point of the forum but that’s not the case for others.

I’ve had people make comments about my posts on here, it’s only an opinion.

I don’t come on the Pro Wrestling thread and say what garbage I think it is, I just stay away, sadly, people will come in here just to say they don’t want to comment, or to simply pick an argument. It’s a shame we can’t voice our views without this happening but I appreciate it works both ways.
