Manager
Yes, cant say that fills me with excitement tbh...With all but 4 players(?) contracted for next season already it's almost certain that 80 to 90% of the squad will be the same - regardless of who is manager.

Arguably we're a decent striker away from being a top side. Literally 1 player could make the differenceYes, cant say that fills me with excitement tbh...
This is my concern as well. Its pretty clear kev et al will be here next season, and i hope it goes well
I am concerned that we'll start the season with 90% the same squad and maybe a few rough diamonds on the bench.
i wonder what the mood will be when we start next season at home in a defensive formation with husin, miley and bridge in midfield, Hopper and walker up front, with bonne coming on in the 80th minute, lose 1-0 are bored ****less, and kev says Tamworth are a big side, they ask a lot of questions....
It all feels very stale to me, but as ever 4 top signings that gel can make all the difference. I'll be glad to see the back of this season tbh.
So this kind of response is ok then!I think its because Chris is a smart woman and true fan.
Blimey, already concerns about next season. Personally I feel the aim will be promotion out of this league and COSU will do what they can within budget to support the management team. I also think harsh decisions will be made on players and we won’t be signing anyone who it’s felt can’t take us forward. We’ve no need to now. What we won’t do is sign the very best players and walk the league. We need to be realistic. By the way we’re two places off the play offs now .. so don’t get the last sentence at all. This is my concern as well.
I can see us letting Waldron go but signing everyone else out of contract and making maybe one or two signings. It would not fill with me confidence as I don't see us a promotion or play-off team at the moment with this squad
Exactly, Kev’s getting blamed for next season and it hasn’t even happened yet.Blimey, already concerns about next season. Yes, and also at least one other offensive forward thinking midfielder similar to Leon P. We have far too many players who can't be relied on to finish chances, once again highlighted yesterday.Arguably we're a decent striker away from being a top side. Literally 1 player could make the difference
Having concerns about possible recruitment for next season is far from blaming him. It's an entirely valid concern to have as we look forward.Exactly, Kev’s getting blamed for next season and it hasn’t even happened yet.
And here's the problem. The mind-contortions you'll go to to draw the conclusion that fits your agenda when he's already given you his answer - namely that there's no point debating with someone who isn't listening. You are continuing to prove his point for him.Which says it all, you clearly do not have any answer!
No 'mind-contortions' what ever that means. Just asking for an answer on the substance of the discussion rather than just closing down if explanations are too difficult. To say there is no point in debating translates as 'I'm right and you are wrong' rather than having a reasoned debate. And here's the problem. It's a quite straightforward expression. You concluded, because he can't be bothered to continue to debate with someone who isn't prepared to even attempt to understand what he's saying, that "you clearly do not have an answer". Which is, by any definition, NOT a reasoned conclusion. And yet you continue to claim you're interested in having a reasoned debate. You're not. You're just intent on disregarding what he says while repeating yourself ad nauseum. No 'mind-contortions' what ever that means. I wasnt playing any future blame gameExactly, Kev’s getting blamed for next season and it hasn’t even happened yet.
Hand on heart, whatever next season brings, I would be looking forward to supporting my team and club and not being so negative.I wasnt playing any future blame game
Just trying to imagine what it will feel like to start the next season as everything is now, defensive setup, opening day boring 1-0 loss same strikers who cant hit a barn door etc, subs on 80 mins etc..
Hand on heart, how would you be feeling?
No I think he's being blamed for the clear lack of sucesss this season. And the huge risk of more of the same next season unless COSU get their respective fingers outExactly, Kev’s getting blamed for next season and it hasn’t even happened yet.
I found out this week that Ollie Pearce is on £1.2k/week. A wage so low that Worthing offered to match York's offer. No I think he's being blamed for the clear lack of sucesss this season. And the huge risk of more of the same next season unless COSU get their respective fingers out
Dam as you say quality is there for sure to be found we just need to make sure we start on the front foot for once . And more importantly getting better quality in and for the right price .I found out this week that Ollie Pearce is on £1.2k/week. A wage so low that Worthing offered to match York's offer.
The quality is there for us to afford. Getting quality players in the right positions in early will be key.
Good for you.Hand on heart, whatever next season brings, I would be looking forward to supporting my team and club and not being so negative.
How much are our players being paid?I found out this week that Ollie Pearce is on £1.2k/week. A wage so low that Worthing offered to match York's offer.
