Thanks Kev - but is a new manager needed?

Anyone else feel it's slightly ironic that we have an ongoing thread, since November, as to the legitimacy of our Head Coach still being in the job and yet opinions are being expressed as to if we can make up enough points to secure a play off spot! Given the title of this thread you might expect to see opinions as to if we are going to avoid relegation, just saying 😉
The problem is that there are a couple of posters who are Kev out no matter what. So they can't bring themselves to admit the team has actually had a good week. One has been very condescending, it's like he wants Kev to fail, so he can be proven right. As for me, I wasn't happy with Kev and the team after those two horror games, but there's been a good and proper response, and we look a better team and squad, and the subs are making more of an impact, and we are well and truly in the play-off race.

There's no doubt that a slight change of style has occurred in the last few games with less of the sideways and backwards approach. Was this directly from Kev and co ,or has a gentle word come from above . Play offs should be the minimum aim this season ,and negative tactics have lost us many points. If we finish with a good run and positive play another season will be no doubt be given .

Yes, he's made it on to my ignore list. I value opinion but when it becomes repeated entrenched retric based on an obvious personal agenda it's just annoying noise to be blocked out for me.

Maher only beats the teams he should be beating. Show me team that Maher beaten this season who actually any good..... I think we are getting bit carried away by recent results but fair play for beating whats infront of you. Personally I'm on the fence regarding Maher but at the same time I'm pleased by the upturn in results. Again I will say who have we beaten this season who actually any good? I can't think of 1 team.

Barnet have only beaten teams below them in the league and yet they are top. Makes you think

Chesterfield at home last season when we had 2 players on the bench

Halifax currently sit 7th in the NL Table and thus are currently in a play-off place. We have beaten them home and away with 5 goals for and one against. Does that count as good?

They're in the playoffs though, isn't that the standard we were hoping for this year? I think only the most optimistic fan thought we'd go up automatically.
This league is quite poor Interms of quality apart from barnet, York and forest green with the odd exemption of Oldham and Gateshead who decent on there day with the rest being pretty bang average to say the least and im being kind there to. Halifax or Rochdale aren't exactly top quality sides we are beating, more on the same level we are currently at. We are still team under construction imo.
