Finally given in to signing up on here. Give me a follow on Twitter fellow shrimpers: https://twitter.com/londonshrimper

Just been sent this post: been raving about Lomas all season. Definitely one destined for big things in the Football League - a real gem in non-league. Really hoping we do sign him.

Told Still is in talks with those at Dagenham about signing Joey Jones, although Grimsby are after him as well.
Not a fan of that Jones so hope nothing comes of that one

Otherwise known as "Agent X Two-Zero" he will only come here to score own goals and destabilise our promotion push.

Has BarryBlue52 taught us nothing apart from York being a concrete **** hole with no decent pubs and no history?

signing players before the summer break and having to pay wages through that period with no income??...............................what's going on?? Unheard of.

They’ll be signing future contracts which won’t have immediate start dates. A singing bonus may be due but probably no wages until end of July (although Ron likes waiting until August so no wages due until end of August).

Good to see business (hopefully being) done early though.

Lets hope he knows the offside rule better than Tommy

That was David. Tommy was the good one!

Seems Murombedzi has played wing back quite a bit in his career so far, only moving to CM last season, so would provide cover there too.
Transfermarkt has him as a left-winger but one who managed one goal and one assist all year. Is he actually a left wing-back or box-to-box midfielder or holding midfielder?

Better practice the Karaoke boys!

Watched Brackley play a number of times this season. Shep Murombedzi always played in the centre of the park as a holding midfielder - never stopped running, was good at breaking up play and doing the basics very well. A tidy player. Heard he was a right wing back previously, but never seen or heard of him playing on the left wing!

Seems this is why Atkinson & Dunne were both let go, one more like him (perm or loan) would do us well.

Thank you. Transfermarkt aren’t very reliable once you get down to the lower levels. They had us as 4-4-2 v Torquay with Davies on the RW and Demi at RB.

Eastleigh’s fans seem disappointed at losing Miley.

Disappointed to see Smart and Miley released. The rest is understandable although thought Broadbent had done well enough.

We still have some great strengths. Amongst those, the player I did enjoy watching practising his craft last night was Cav Miley - how on earth was he dropped for the poor show at Altrincham? (I wasn't there but had an eye witness report back).

They don’t seem to particularly rate Lee Bradbury’s management.

Another good write up below from an Eastleigh fan on Cav Riley:

Decent player...very surprised we let him go. Good work rate. Breaks down the midfield and can link up with the forwards. Good passer of the ball! Sweet left peg. He rarely gets injured Would be a decent signing if u get him.
