That was/is Mr Maher's intention . Does anyone know what happened to the keeper from Norwich on loan. One minute he was here, then he got injured and then he went back Norwich, just weird!

He joined Bohemians In Ireland on a season long loan.

Bit of a strange one as we’ve got zero chance of signing any of Brentford’s starting XI from last night. Ryan Trevitt came on as a sub on 72mins and looks like the only one we’d have a chance with (19 year old midfielder with no senior appearance). But not sure we need another midfielder?

Actually, looks like he’s a winger. Could make sense as that would then give us Mooney, Powell, Bridge and Trevitt as options either side of Wreh.
 
Current squad (short-term injury, long-term injury):

2 GK (Arnold, Andeng-Ndi)
4 CB (Lomas, Hobson, Kensdale, Davis) + 2 covers (Ralph, Taylor)
2 RWB (Demetriou, Scott-Morriss) + 2 covers (Taylor, Crowhurst)
2 LWB (Ralph, Clifford)
2 defensive CM (Miley, Taylor)
4 attacking CM (Husin, Fonguck, Benton, Coker)
4 wide forwards (Bridge, Mooney, Powell, Wood)
5 central strikers (Murphy, Cardwell, Wreh, Hyde, Cosgrove)

Looking at that squad, I'd be surprised if we had any permanent signings lined up as we look good for cover in all areas. In 2-3 weeks, all the short-term injury players, except Taylor, could be ready for selection. If injuries come then we should have a list of potential loanees ready.

The only slight concerns I can see are at LWB with Ralph & Clifford as both are susceptible to injuries and with the defensive CM role, as if Taylor is out for longer then there isn't much backup for Miley.

I can only see us making a signing if someone who isn't available now suddenly becomes available and can significantly improve our team.
 
Also Mason Clark leaving Barnet for Peterborough Utd, fee iro £175/£200k accepted. Chesterfield had an offer turned down end of last season, Fleetwood and Pompey were also interested. Be interesting to see who they replace him with by the time we play them.

Barnet currently top.

He was one of the opposition players who stood out to me last season so not at all surprised to see him snapped up by Peterborough who love a non-league forward. I think someone ( @Lincoln Shrimp ?) said we enquired but were put off by the asking price.
