Kacper has a offer from a team in league 1 that's why he won't sign the new deal at sheff utd ,so no way coming back here.he wasn't happy about the recall last season, has he dint even play when they recalled him,but we need to move on,he's not coming back, need to get a striker in for short term.
That’s not the reason at all. A quick glance at your recent posts suggest you don’t know much. Josh Kelly for example you say about him following the money too but that was clearly extremely wide of the mark too. Most likely a daggers troll.

Shefifield wont let him go out on loan untill he signs a new contact .Sheffield dont wont him and dont need him .But they do need him to put pen to paper on a contact so they can get a large fee for him .Ithought that was pretty plan .

“Assessing all of his options”
Translation:

Been offered a contract, but wants to see if he can get a better deal elsewhere.

Which is very fair.

We might be offering him a 1 year deal on a minimal wage knowing that when Cards and Murph return, he will be down the pecking order.

I've tried to stay quite close to this via the Blades Forum, and the majority view there is that the Club really rate the bloke and see him having a future with them. They (Fans or Club) don't think he is yet ready for Championship football and thus another loan is on the cards probably to an FL1 or FL2 side. For that to happen they want him to commit to a new contract as an insurance cover should he leave given his age. His biggest beef was being recalled and then not being used at all.

We are just observers on the edge of this with no chance of seeing him in a Southend shirt any time soon. Personal opinion obviously.

The trouble is on a minimal wage a 1 year max is all he would sign. Problem then is if he is then as decent as a number on here think he could be, then he will go on a free at the end of that 1 year- and the club will be accused of utter folly saving pennies to cost £££. So suspect it would be 2 years and an option, at the very worst 1 year and an option and probably we will have to pay a fair wage. All of which makes it take a little longer to get what right for him and the club..

not sure if he will play second fiddle to Murphy He has has a history of injury problems at his last clun and now with us .So who knows where he will fit in in kevins plan .

I suppose the only way this might change would be for relationships to still be in a reasonable state, despite the impasse, and for Southend to try to put together a deal that could meet everyone’s needs.

Who knows what value the blades have on Kacper, now and projected in the future. If we could offer some generous future clauses to share in any sell on profit etc that might suit, but this is all speculation. It’s just the one potentially possible way through that I could imagine, but it depends on a) everybody still being in a mood to talk, and b) there being a set of financials that we could offer that could in any way get close to the blades‘ valuation.

Seems highly unlikely, but definitely not impossible.

He was our most prolific scorer when we were at our worst, he will be in Kevin's plans, if he gets injured again, so be it.

Kevin still wants another striker no matter what.

Nice thought Spiffy, but time to move on I reckon. Once Lomas is fit we will have options for the CBs already and we are only two weeks away from league kick-off.

By the way, did you go on Saturday in the end?

I reckon all they had to do was give him a bit of game time, even as a sub, i bet this would have all been avoided.

I know it's been mentioned in passing a few times on here but I can't help but think that with Kacper we would/are throwing in the captaincy as part of the package. While obviously this is more the package for the player rather than Sheffield United, you could argue that it is likely to increase his value over time and therefore the value of any sell-on clause. Also, would we normally have announced the captain for the season by now? Apologies if I missed this.

Not always a good thing for some players making them captain, especially so young. I personally prefer it when a centre mid is captain.

I did 😊 thoroughly enjoyable it was too. I bumped into John, and had a look for you but didn’t spot you. I was in the East Greens.

Very much agree with this, being recalled back while you're having a very good loan spell establishing yourself to just sit on the bench must have been a proper downer on his mood/love for the game. No doubt felt hard done by.

We were in the East Stand Yellows amid a bunch of SUFC baseball cap wearers proudly showing off the their season card badges on their caps. First half, exciting, second half meh!
Definitely agreed. We looked great first half but didn’t get the goals our play deserved. I’d like to see Miley, Fonguck, Powell and Mooney all on the pitch at the same time (not to mention Bridge etc). We do need a striker though. For all the many things Daley brings to our play he doesn’t bring enough goal threat IMO and currently we don’t have an option on the bench who offers as much or more threat than him.

Can't expect too much of a 63-year old former Ilkeston FC player.
