Yes according to NL they are clearly stated as a football creditor. Payment has only just been approved so not necessarily as surprise they haven’t been paid today? But presumably they must be?
That's exactly how I read it. Let's see how quickly the money gets into the hands of the staff.

I suspect that this will end up being a personal loan with Ron accessing some cash somehow meaning it simply shifts the creditor from others to him and so the price of the sale remains the same.

Ron was probably banking on the sale being done & dusted by now meaning he wouldn’t have had to pay out of his own pocket.
But Ron being Ron his ego and stubbornness got in the way and it’s now starting to come back and bite him where it hurts - his wallet.
As others have said - no club no sale. So he’s had to cough up again, somehow.
Let’s hope this payment and his (pathetic) apology have finally opened his eyes

“His own pocket” never …. Season ticket money plus

It’s so hard to keep up with everything going on as it is literally like an episode of eastenders or similar, but the work going on from the fans at the moment is quite unbelievable.

The Trust are organising concerts and recouping money from various sources to pay the hard working staff, many many fans are putting pressure on the 🐀 to sell with protests, there are fans running Twitter spaces, going on talk sport to highlight the cause and there are many many fans from all walks of life looking to tidy up roots hall. Fans of other clubs have admirably been fantastic as well including our biggest rivals.

In previous years, the fan base has seemed divided but it is plainly obvious the fans have come together recently and once this absolute kn*b jockey is gone, the club and the fans will be closer than ever.

Well done to all Shrimpers 👏

Well said Bedford

We have been granted permission to pay it. Nowhere does it say the figure has actually been paid. You would expect it to follow soon though, otherwise we will be sanctioned by the National League.

I always understood the question of football creditors was not relevant unless the club was actually in an insolvency event and the report suggests that is the case.

Now i don’t know what to make of that because none of the football creditors were subject to the WUO meaning HMRC will still keep coming the embargo isn’t close to being lifted
